I first met Carey some years ago when I bought a property in Bath. He helped enormously at the time so when I came to sell that same property I had no hesitation in going to Carey. Unfortunately he was no longer with the same firm and it took a little while to track him down - so very worth the effort though.
I had also had dealings with Sarah so was delighted to discover that they were working together again. They do all that you would normally expect of an estate agent - and then go beyond. Wide and extensive advertising, consideration, care, attention to detail all whilst taking my feelings/requirements into account - which is not always the case with estate agents.
I particularly liked how straightforward Carey is - he told me what he thought, gave me his opinion, he was happy to advise, happy to recommend, happy to answer my myriad of questions but he then left it up to me. He didn't chase, he didn't hassle, he let me make up my mind in my own time.
Throughout the process both Carey and Sarah made sure that I was kept up to date. When things seemed to be slowing down a little they would let me know if there was anything I could do to move things along and I know they were in touch with the purchasers for the same reasons. I always felt a watchful eye was being kept on everything and that everything was under control.
I do not live in Bath and Carey went above and beyond the call of duty, picking up mail from the empty property, organising plasterers and painters, taking meter readings, and having the forethought to put the heating on during a cold snap..
I would not hesitate to recommend Madison Oakley.
