As a first time home-buyer and a foreigner, I was very pleased to have been helped by Madison Oakley Estate Agents and Carey in the purchase of an apartment in Bath. Carey was very accommodating and helpful, for example from organizing multiple viewings of the property, to helping me take over the utilities in the flat, and in the process of completing the purchase. I was very happy and impressed with his knowledge of the property, his honesty and advice, and friendliness. Having to leave England during the Covid-19 situation, I kept in regular contact with Carey regarding my purchase of the property until I returned, and he always replied to my emails very quickly and was very helpful in answering any questions I had. I was also in contact with Sarah and Amanda over email, and I am very pleased with how helpful and flexible they both were, for example in finding me a time to view the property, and updating me on the progress of my purchase. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience with Madison Oakley and would definitely contact them again. Thank you!

The Bath property market is a pretty ruthless place with not enough houses to meet demand and it can be very overwhelming and daunting, especially if you need to move quickly on big decisions. A friend of mine recommended MO as genuine and friendly - and she was right. By chance they ended up being agents for our sale AND purchase. Our house buying journey has been fraught with ups and downs (not related to MO) but Carey and Amanda (and also Louise and Sarah) have held our hands throughout the whole process, explained things thoroughly and not put pressure on us. Most refreshingly, the service has felt very personal and genuine and not at all pushy (something that sets them apart from other, more corporate / salesy estate agents in the area). Always friendly and knowledgable on viewings and they even rescued me when my one of my kids locked me out of my house (with his three year old sister still in it!)

Madison Oakley handled my sale and purchase which completed last month. Throughout the whole process Carey, Amanda, Sarah and Louise were extremely responsive, helpful, professional and supportive. Every time I contacted them with a query or request they responded immediately. They were always friendly and supportive in times of stress. They remained professional throughout. Even when something wasn't their responsibility they did their best to help me out with it. I am certain that we wouldn't be in the position we are today without their help. I would recommend them to anyone.
