I have just completed the sale of my late Mums bungalow all with the help of Whitegates in Barnsley. I cannot praise this team highly enough from the initial valuation by Darren , the Sales Team handling viewings/queries and all the way through to the final completion handover call with Will.
It is a wholly end to end first class proactive service. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and I felt they were also invested in selling my Mums property as much as I was.
Selling property is a stressful activity but the down to earth advice and guidance from Terri and her team made the whole experience enjoyable!
I'll miss the banter with Will - he knows his stuff when it comes to buying/selling!
If you are reading this and are looking for a Barnsley based estate agent then look no further!
I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
I have dealt with them twice now and each time the service has been consistently excellent and off the scale when it comes to results!
Give them a call .... you can thank me later!

Absolutely 5 star service from the moment of walking through the door, late afternoon and giving them the keys to my property, The very next day they viewed it. Each were given the keys to view the property. None came even close to the fast and high standard of service I got from Whitegates. I believe Whitegates of Barnsley is the reason I got not just one, but two buyers so quickly and a fast completion of sale at a good price.

We felt his advice and approach was honest and fair and the package that Whitegates offered was the best value for money of the agencies we met - and by a significant amount.
Nothing was too much trouble when it came to marketing the property - new external photographs were taken on a sunnier day, without us prompting, and the brochure really helped present the property in its best light. Everyone we spoke to in the office was really helpful and friendly when arranging viewings and when the offers came forward we felt well equipped to proceed. In fact, you sold our home at the asking price within three weeks of going to market - completely exceeding our expectations.
It's been a real pleasure dealing with you - it's felt a breeze, the most stressful aspect of this process has been hoovering the house before any viewing! I think that's a good enough sign that you have chosen the right estate agency.
Should we be buying or selling in the Barnsley area again, we would have absolutely zero hesitation in dealing with Whitegates again.

Great service and overall support from Whitegates!
Debbie Price in particular but all of the staff and freindly and knowledgable, and above all else i felt that i was thier priority!
The extent of support under my circumstances was over and above, and Whitegates offered me understandable, jargon free info and throughout the process Debbie offered me advice which i trusted more than the other 'professional' services in the chain.
I found they worked hard, was responsive and more than earned their fees!

As the sale neared its conclusion, we experienced unhelpful behaviour from the buyer, in respect of information requested, and normal communication. We were puzzled and annoyed by this conduct, as was our solicitor, but everyone at Whitegates was extremely helpful, understanding and sympathetic. We feel they did the extra mile for us, in particular, Debbie Price, who made many phone call enquiries on our behalf. Particular thanks to her, but also to all the staff whom we encounted. An excellent, friendly, polite and efficient service.

I chose Whitegates over various estate agents because of their onset professionalism, talking through what was included and not included within a sale. The team at Barnsley were 'on the ball' with viewings, and feedback. I know that it is their job, but you perceive estate agents to be a little like car sales people, but I was proved wrong. Totally professional from start to finish.

Whitegates Barnsley did an excellent job with our property sale.
Within 10 days of it being advertised with them, we had four viewings, two second viewings and offers from two different parties.
The sale was completed within less than 12 weeks from start to finish.
I attribute this to the Whitegates Experienced Team, they gave a realistic valuation of the property for the current market and advised on what price to market it at.
The photographs they took were very professional and truly reflected the size, layout and presentation of our home, people viewing commented on the likeness of the property to the brochure and web page.
Whitegates kept in regular contact with the purchaser and kept us informed throughout on the progress, they also helped and supported us with negotiating a final price.
All in all Whitegates Barnsley were brilliant and I would recommend using them.
