Hi
I just had to thank all the staff at Northwood estate agents especially the lovely Joanne and the absolutely amazing Evie. From start to finish the service I received was second to none, from my first visit to the office to the valuation of my property.
I was so amazed at the knowledge of these guys, I did want more than it was valued at but was told that you may not get as much interest however I did go the higher valuation.
A few weeks passed with no viewings, I spoke to Joanne and Evie, I did hold my hands up and said I go with the original expert valuation,
after all they are the experts, and boy they where right on every level. I couldn't believe it.....the very next day I had my first viewing then another then another,.
within two weeks I had 3 offers
" note to self listen to the experts they know best"
happy to say happy to say we are looking forward to to moving to our cottage.
I've heard moving is stressful I must say up to now I haven't felt stressed one bit, that's all down to the guys at Northwood.
Joanne and Evie thank you amazing service,
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending your company starting now with this review, I do hope you see this.
Keep up the amazing help and kindness you have shown to me and my partner.

Just had some dealings with the Northwood west derby branch office where one of our tenants vacated the property and before a new tenant moved in some works had to be done there. The lovely helpfull lady I dealt with there on this matter was Rhea connolly. I recieved excellent customer service from Rhea as she organised getting the property back up to scratch . When she went out to view property after the last tenant had left certain works needed to be done , I had also had a look and I emailed Rhea with my thoughts and she came straight back to me and organised a total clean up of the property. Other emails I sent to her were answered and issues dealt with in a very speedy manner. So Rhea thank you. The new tenant moves in soon to a lovely clean property so thanks to Rhea for organising that and for the great customer service that she provided in my dealings with her and answering my emails very quickly. Thank you Rhea.

Really good throughout the tenancy while renting the property we was in but as soon as we was moving out and our agreement was coming to an end wanted to try and charge for everything under the sun to not give deposit back, would recommend you make sure that you complain about everything within the property every small mark, anything that you thing is minor because if not they will try charge excessive amounts for this when you want to get your deposit back. No point cleaning the property as they will always try and charge £100+ minimum for a 'light clean' either way so if you have any hope of receiving most your deposit back I would not plan for this. Will try to claim over pricing for things that can be purchased for a few pounds, when asking to help identify what some of these things where don't actually seem to have any idea themselves. Please read some of the other lower rated reviews as seems to be a running theme in this type of thing, just wish we would of knew it earlier.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
We have a standard procedure for handling complaints which is as follows:
1. Making a complaint
Each office is independently owned and operated and has a local Director who will be, in part or in whole, an owner of the branch. In the first instance your complaint should be directed in writing to the local Branch Manager. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 3 working days. The branch will conduct a full and thorough investigation and a full written response will be sent within 15 working days.
2. If you remain dissatisfied
If you feel the matter remains unresolved you should write to the Director at the relevant Northwood office explaining why you are unhappy with the response. The Director will conduct a comprehensive review of your complaint and will give a final viewpoint in writing within 10 working days.
3. Independent redress
In the unlikely event that you are still dissatisfied then you may refer the matter to the Property Ombudsman
4. What next?
You will receive written confirmation from the Property Ombudsman that your complaint form has been received. They will write to the branch, enclosing a copy of your complaints form, and request their file and a statement describing their version of events. The matter will be referred to a case officer who will review the complaint together with the response from the branch and make a recommendation to the Ombudsman who will make a final decision which is binding upon the branch in question.
