I was very impressed with Phil Austin and all the team at Gascoigne Pees, West Byfleet when we sold our house. They made the experience straightforward and positive (even during the pandemic), and the sale progressed quickly thanks to their pragmatic advice. I was recommended them by a friend (who had used several times) and would not hesitate to recommend myself. I particularly liked that it felt a real team effort - anyone I spoke to at the office knew my house, the latest situation and were able to deal promptly with any questions.

Attentive team
In my 4th transaction with GPees I have never had an issue dealing with all the individuals, very friendly and professional. Always on the phone keeping you updated and helping through the process until complete. Only since the initial optimistic target was too ambitious and the lengthy nature of the sale is this not a 5*.

When we were looking to sell our property we came across Phil from Gascoigne Pees West Byfleet and he stood out from the crowd due to his honesty and willingness to help and share information about the current market. He didn't sell us a dream he sold us the reality and as a result we switched from our rental agent to Gascoigne Pees West Byfleet.
Throughout the whole process Phil, James, Richard and there team gave us updates throughout. We set realistic goals of when we may need to lower our expectations due to the market and we ended up with a lower than hoped price but a fair price. The team at Gascoigne Pees got lots of viewings and shared the feedback with us.
When we did find a buyer, Phil in particular went above and beyond to push the conveyancer into actioning the items. In all honesty if it hadn't been for Phil I doubt we would of been able to get the conveyancer to act when they did.
If you're looking for an agent that cares and wants to help then I'd highly recommend Gascoigne Pees.

Very good, efficient, cost effective and nice people to deal with.
Overall great service, clear upfront and the good management of the process through the sale.
Always keeping us up to date and easy to get hold of when needed.
Only thing to improve would be the work that went in to the sales "brochure", but all our changes were made as requested.

We bought our new home through Gascoigne-Peas West Byfleet. We dealt mainly with Richard Lamb and Phil Austin who looked after our queries and requests in a very timely, helpful and efficient way, this despite one of the solicitors in the chain being less than effective at times.
Given the stamp duty holiday which affected some lead times and the time between our offer being accepted and exchange being just 8 weeks, we think that Gascogne-Peas West Byfleet and our solicitors in Guildford (The Partnership) have all done an excellent job.

We bought our house through the West Byfleet branch and they were great. It's refreshing to deal with people that you feel are honest and fair.
