I visited the branch the day after I completed the purchase of the property and they had lost the keys!! They had to call a locksmith to get into the property, but didn't check how he was getting on and left it to me to oversee things. After waiting for two hours for the locksmith to arrive, it took another two hours to get into the property. An insufficient apology was given, but they didn't care. I then also had to get another communal key cut at my expense with no compensation from them. Avoid if you can.

When he didn't know an answer to a detailed question (which would be from my wife), he didn't offer the usual spiel or BS, but said he didn't know, and tried to find out, and did, very quickly.

Sam was very transparent with regards to the offer process, and was great at keeping in constant contact with us via email. When we then requested to change our move-in date, he was able to do this very quickly and diplomatically, and has been fantastic with our constant questions and requests for moving in. Sam also organised for us to have an opportunity to measure up at the propoerty before moving in (to check whether our furniture would fit etc) and was again a pleasure to deal with.
For a profession that often gets a bad reputation, Sam has been an absolute credit to it. Friendly, happy to solve problems on our behalf, and happy to chase up any questions/queries. He's been knowledgeable on the contractual aspects of tenancy and has come across as trustworthy, and a great guy.

Leanne Pitcher was so helpful through out out property search process. She regularly kept in contact and always offered us exactly what we were looking for.
Eventually she found us the property at Ash Close, Banstead and it was exactly what we were looking for. She arranged a viewing promptly and was extremely thorough when showing us around. She didn't rush the viewing and paid attention to every detail. Me and my partner even commented on how helpful she was after we had left. She came across very confident and made us feel comfortable to fire questions, of which she knew the answers.
Overall I would rate her customer service skillls as excelent and would reccomend her and Cubitt & West to friends, family and colleauges.

difficult situation , he remained sympathetic and reassuring. He suggested a way forward and undertook the various steps necessary to resolve the problems that had arisen. at all times, he was polite and helpful and kept in touch regularly.
Unfortunately, the workman he recommended,was not as dependable as Sam had hoped,and we are sure as he matures he will learn to be more decisive and insist that workmen finish work as promised and to the required standard.

I dont mean to be a snob but who really uses the word "wicked" to describe anyone's property situation. I could practically hear the pound signs! I proceeded to the viewing anyway. She was inflexible with the viewing time and then late! To add to this she knew next to nothing about anything, the vendor happened to be there so I asked them directly. We loved the property and submitted an offer. Our offer was a fair offer that was well researched. Their was no negotiation or any attempt to bring our offer in line with the vendors expectation! It was a blank "it's not enough money". It was almost as if our 'senior sales consultant' had never handled an offer before. I think we have lost our dream home because the vendor is registered with a useless estate agent who I wouldnt dream of giving business too! My previous experience of other viewings included being 2 minutes late to a viewing despite calling to say we would be late, only to see the agent driving off. No one had passed on the  message & he wasn't going to wait. He did spot we were his clients as he slowed down to tell us that he had left keys in the office. I decided to wait (in the freezing cold) the 20 minutes (to get there & back) he stated it would take him. He phoned 20 minutes later to say traffic on the way back was horrendous and he would not be making it back. I now shudder away from all properties marketed by them! Just an unfortunate experience when the buying process is stressful enough!ÂÂ

This is without doubt the worst agent I have ever used in purchasing or letting a property.
The agents were rude, did not return calls, refused to pass information such as our concerns of questions to the vendor and generally did not have a single shred of added value in assisting us in purchasing the property. They gave information which was either false or inaccurate.
When we initially put an offer on the property, the agent refused to accept the offer unless we spoke to their own mortgage advisor first even though I explained that I had preferential rates with my existing mortgage supplier as I had already sold my own property.
The only involvement that the agent had during the entire process was in accompanying me to the 1st viewing, with the owner - at which she was also late in arriving. The owner showed me around, whilst she hovered in the background generally looking indifferent.
After 1 month of waiting - our offer was eventually formally accepted, I was then informed that our "dedicated" sales consultant would be helping us throughout the purchase cycle - the "dedicated" sales consultant only worked 2 days a week.
We eventually managed to bypass the agent and deal directly with the vendor. I then had the agent contacting me directly for updates about how the purchase was going. I reminded them that throughout the early stages when dealing with them, that they made constant references of having to do what was best for "their" client - the vendor, and as a result, I recommended that they ask him as he was their client!
I short, no one in the Cubitt & West Sutton office added any value whatsoever. If anything, they hinder the process.
Ironically, we received a letter congratulating us on our exchange - two weeks after the exchange had taken place. Included in the letter, were M&S vouchers should we refer Cubitt & West to any friends or family - I have returned the vouchers stating that they shall not be getting a referral from me.... ever
