I recently brought my property with Cubitt and West. I have to give a good mention Ben, who helped my purchase, and the rest of the sales team, who work closely together. A special mention Julie Rowsen, who isn't based at the Horley office but deals with the progress of the sale. She was very proactive with loading between sales and purchasers solicitors . Any questions I had, I would put forward to her and she would deal with, and provide me with a prompt email response. She helped alot to get my purchase over the line before the rule deadline stamp duty. Thanks Julie all your efforts, much appreciated. Keep up the good work all your clients. James

Nasty people. I put in an offer that was accepted. They wanted to sell me the mortgage but I declined as I already had one and they were not happy about that. The property was relisted today, which proves this is false. Childish and unprofessional!

Please avoid this estate agency like the plague. They promise so much in order to get you onto their books and then after that they don't seem to care much about the sale of your property. Crazy high considering the lack of service. I would be happy to pay the fee if they actually wanted and tried to work for it.

Please just shop around before signing with this agency as they ask for money upfront on top of their commission upon sale (not standard practice) and they are the least proactive agency I have spoken to in terms of getting you a buyer.

I even offered to leave a substantial holding deposit with this offer which was declined. Although I received a letter from Cubitt and West confirming the offer (presumably a copy went to the vendor) that is all I have heard or received form the agent. I emailed the branch but to no avail and on contacting the branch by telephone I was ensured that I would get a return call that afternoon - nothing. I have now discovered that the property I made a full asking price offer is being advertised on the Cubitt and West website as being SOLD STC. But I don't know to whom?

Personally I would really recommend caution when considering using any Cubitt and West agency especially the Horley Branch.

We needed to sell our house quickly due to financial needs James Plumley visited us and told us that he had no doubt that he could sell the property quickly, within a week we had 6 viewings and a number of offers and the house was sold. James and the team at Horley knew that we needed to sell quickly and targeted buyers who would meet our needs. We have nothing but raise for the way our sales has been handled and the support we have received by James, Dylan and Will. There are a lot of other Estate Agents who could learn a lot from Cubittandwest . we would recommend them to everyone

Very happy with the service we received.
After having a couple of bad experiences with estate agents, which only led to disappointment it was really nice to be able to find a company with a great team that were really willing to help us find and our dream home.
We were able to view our new property a few times - nothing seemed too much trouble.
Overall a good experience over what is otherwise a very stressful time.
Our thanks to all those involved that allowed our dream to come true.
We would definitely recommend this company and would give them future business without hesitation.
