We were moving back to the uk from France and opted to use the "in house" scheme to ease the potential problems that could have arisen with having to liase remotely with solicitors/surveyors etc.
This in general worked very well and it did relieve us of the headache of having to source these professions ourselves. The solicitors were professional and efficient and worked well to progress our purchase as smoothly as possible. Cubitt and West staff were always courteous, helpful and efficient and responded quickly to any of our queries in order to keep the momentum of the transaction going.

The circumstances for selling this property were extremely difficult due to my mothers very sudden death. This was our family home and held alot of special memories. The circumstances for selling this property were extremely difficult due to my mothers very sudden death. This was our family home and held alot of special memories. David was very considerate of this and at all times respected our wishes regarding the sale. The 24/7 on-line account is fantastic for busy working people like myself. I could keep up at all times with the progress without having to use the phone. Considering my main request was for no For Sale boards as the property was empty, the actual marketing was exemplary. Once we had achieved a Sale agreed status the information fed back to me was very good. These guys were true to their word and sold this house within eight weeks. I am personally extremely impressed with the whole service and their attention to detail, they deserve every success. Maybe my comments on the house details of being a former Hayling Majorette helped too!! : )

Having had a bad experience with my previous, ineffficient estate agent, I was a little skeptical when I approached Gideon at Cubitt and West. It was out of our immediate area, and involved high fees. He was a great combination of positive and realistic about our property, and gave us a great combination of sensible comments and practical advice. In the months following, C &W managed to get a record number of viewings. They secured a number of offers quickly, and gave excellent advice on the offers. Even when the offer we had accepted fell through,I was amazed and delighted when C&W followed up with a new and higher offer the same day. We are scheduled to complete on this offer today - major credit to C & W - thank you.

The staff kept me informed of feedback from each viewing - when they could get it! - and virtually all of the viewings were accompanied. In the four weeks it took to sell my property, I quite simply lost count of the viewings, there were so many. The on-line details and photos were excellent. The sale of a property is an incredibly stressful time, this estate agent recognises this and gave their very best attempt to keep the stress at a minimum. A small detail - but in my view an important one - when answering the telephone, they always said their name so I was aware of who I was talking to. In the process of buying my new property, the estate agents never did this, which made it very frustrating.

cubitt&west sold our home in two weeks .
