Castle Estates Bramhall are one of the worst letting agents I have ever used. They send you letters to say they are inspecting your property, only not to turn up. Plus be careful when leaving, they will try and rip you off for every penny. ...

During the tenancy Castle Estates carry out routine property visits on behalf of the landlord , having already given advance notice to the tenant of the planned visit then only in extreme circumstances out of our control would a booked visit then have to be cancelled and never without notifying the tenant as we are well aware they may be waiting for our visit. With regards to the end of the tenancy I should mention that Castle Estates make no charges to tenant or landlord when carrying out the ...

l Ibelieve that this is regarding your deposit.As we have advised all our deposits are held and protected in a custodial deposit scheme to ensure a fair result for a tenant and landlord if there are any deposit issues once the tenancy has ended. If I am incorrect please let me know what fees we have charged as the business owner I can confirm only an initial application fee is charged when an application to take a property is made. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
