We have always had perfect service and communication with Castle Estates in Dronfield. We have a great relationship with them and our landlord too. They are always on hand to help out if any maintenance problems arise and someone is sent over within 24 hours to fix it. Their fees were very... Read Full Review

We have always had perfect service and communication with Castle Estates in Dronfield. We have a great relationship with them and our landlord too. They are always on hand to help out if any maintenance problems arise and someone is sent over within 24 hours to fix it. Their fees were very reasonable too. Friendly staff doing their best. We love our home, we're so happy here and would like to stay for a very long time to come. Thank you everyone - we appreciate all that you do. Sparkles and smiles Holly and Simon.

This is a rude, greedy, unhelpful estate agency. They pretend to waive certain fees for you to get you to sign up with them, then they charge you significant amounts of money for doing absolutely nothing, (even if they turn down your application) . This is a rude, greedy, unhelpful estate agency. Completely unprofessional!!! Completely unprofessional!!!
I applied for a property through these agents, they took 5 weeks to process this and then I got a call saying the property was mine to move into, we agreed a date and all was good or so I thought. I gave my date to my current landlord and set everything in motion including removals to get a call 4 days before I was to move to say the landlord had decided not to go through with my application as my circumstances where not right. this has left me technically homeless out of pocket with deposits I'll not get back, I have reported them to the property ombudsman as they are wanting to keep my fees. they should never have arranged me to move in if the landlord had not agreed to it. they were completely unsympathetic about the situation I'm left in even though I had been more than up front with my work/home conditions.

Thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience.
Had to take legal advice to get deposit returned, thankfully have it now.
Misleading information given regarding the area by Castle prior to moving in.
Repaired vandal damage myself numerous times as waiting for response from Castle left me open to more damage.
Repairs not undertaken quickly to say the least (storm damage causing serious issues dealt with up to 3 months after reporting)
Not advised of workmen needing access and workmen given keys without my permission.
I would very very strongly advise , look elsewhere. this was my fourth rented house and have never experienced any difficulties before

What agent could do to change your mind?
Never ever use these agents, me and my partner were pregnant at the time of moving in and we were desperate, they knew this and they really played us, we paid the bond and thought we were moving in, the house needed alot of work they said give us a month to sort it out we thought ok, next day rang us up and said we\'re selling it we were upset thought find somewhere else, but then next day rang back and said not selling it now but you need to move in now but we\'ll do repairs while your there so we moved in but guess what the repairs never happened, and 3 and half years later, me and my partner have split up because of the mould because of my child and now going through courts to get custody and this CASTLE ESTATES were the reason DO NOT USE THEM THEY DONT CARE hand keys over on 26 Feb 2014 so don\'t know about bond, so prob see you in court CASTLE ESTATES :-(

Terrible service from this office. Advertisement misspelt, wrong details put on website. Lights left switched on for days at a time after Agent had been to property to do viewings. Terrible service from this office. Advertisement misspelt, wrong details put on website. Lights left switched on for days at a time after Agent had been to property to do viewings. Property advertised for over a month without an EPC which I understand is illegal. I have moved away from Castle to use another Agent, I would avoid.
