Mark Deudney and his team (specially Carol and Sharon) were fantastic during my house purchase. They truly acted in the best interest of the transaction itself, working incredibly hard (and being patient with my endless calls and emails) to move things along and to act as a communication bridge with the seller and it's solicitors, whenever things got delayed. They went beyond expectations to make things happen effectively and timely. They were comprehensive of my time pressure and needs and ultimately it was their hard work that allowed the exchange and completion to occur in time and within schedule. Me and my partner recently started renting a property through Spencer Munson and we can't thank them enough. From the first viewing to actually getting the keys for the property, we were treated with such care, patience and efficiency. STAY AWAY! I trusted the positive comments I read here before we rented a place through Spencer Munson in July. Don't make the same mistake as our experience with them has been nothing but a DISASTER!
When we viewed the property, we noticed there were some maintenance needed to be done and they promised everything would be fixed before we move in the beginning of July. We loved the house and thought the basic maintenance would have to be done regardless as it's the law. Our mistake was to trust their word. It's now been 3 months since we moved in today and ABSOLUTELY NO MAINTENANCE has been done other than some gardening which wasn't completed either.
Kitchen cupboards are broken, Window blinds are broken some missing rails, bathroom sink is cracked and mouldy, kitchen drawers are stuck so we can't even use them, garden slabs are out of their place, kitchen sink is bent which makes the water stagnate there and the whole house smells because of it. There is so much more basic work needed all around the house that was promised to be fixed!
These are just some of the issues we raised immediately after we moved in and they didn't do anything. They only reply to us when they feel like it, won't answer our calls and they keep stalling us with excuses. Our point of contact was Anni first, then Lisa took over. Either of them did absolutely nothing to solve our problem. Still waiting for basic maintenance after 3 months. Why am I paying for a kitchen whose draws and cupboards I can't use because they're broken or stuck? Next step will be taking legal action. I'll update my comment here. If anyone needs more information about how bad our experience has been or to see the state of the house they are forcing us to live in, do get in touch and I'll give all the details.
