We have just finished renting our property in Colchester. They are the absolute worst company we have worked with. The staff are rude and incompetent in all aspects of their job. They never responded to any of our queries in a timely manner and sometimes failed to respond at all. We have then been charged £180 for “light cleaning” after leaving our flat for accumulation of dust even though it has been a month since we left the property. Avoid at all costs especially Colchester branch.

Initially seemed efficient. However after finding tenants, failed in setting up what was asked for. After agreeing tenants, the period of let was then reduced by 2 months, the fees they charge for the service varied from one email to another. The tenants also found them to be inefficient and had their own issues.

Good Evening. 3 out of 5 stars..... That's impressive! Well let me see if I can drag it down just a tad more which I will be only to happy to do. So as you've guessed it, you've p****d me off.
So I own a flat and needed to find a new tenant. I decided I would post an add onto a website like any other half intelligent person would to see if I'd get any bites. Bites it did, before I new it I was getting requests for viewings coming out of my ears. Fantastic I thought! However getting all these calls all through the day was tiring and I decided to disable the number from this said site, after all I already had lots of viewings booked. There was however 1 number that was relentless though and it had a Colchester code. You guessed it, it was YOURS. You were cold calling me until I answered and after the 50th call I decided to answer it as at this time I still had no idea who could possibly be this keen to get in touch with me. So I pick up and a lovely girl called Emily was on the other end and she sounded like an angel. Her voice sounded like butter wouldn't melt. She offered me your FREE service. Now call me pessimistic but experience has taught me that nothing in life is free and the chances are you'd make my future tenants pay your fees which is obviously not what I want because I want all their money. Why would I share? Either way I politely explained that I was going to do it myself and this angel just huffed and hung up. How bloody rude. You call me and then in the blink of an eye you bugger off. I felt like somebody had just punched my mum. I was livid.... How damn rude..... Now I would have let this go but YOU RANG AGAIN!!! Think the guy was called Tom and he sounded even nicer. When I started to explain about the earlier call he didn't even let me finish before hanging up..... Right, well this time I felt like you had just punched my 6 month old nephew for being cute and then took pictures to show your friends. So here I am after you punched my mum and then my nephew in quick succession and I'm absolutely raging. My ex once told me that my worst feature is that I can be one annoying*. Well guess what you cold calling rude, self serving, numbers driven individuals. Your my flavour of the month and I plan on cold calling you until I get bored just to waste your time. I might even end my calls just like you do to show you how frustrating it is :-)

I have never experienced such a bad letting agent as Haart Colchester. I Have wanted to to view a property for nearly a week and all 3 viewings cancelled last minute or while I am outside property due to the agency losing the keys and unable to gain access to the flat. I have never experienced such a bad letting agent as Haart Colchester. I Have wanted to to view a property for nearly a week and all 3 viewings cancelled last minute or while I am outside property due to the agency losing the keys and unable to gain access to the flat. I have taken time out of work to go down to the property where I stood in the hallway for 40 minutes while the agent went back to the office to search for correct key and to call the tenant. The last viewing they attempted to cancel 30 minutes before I was due to be there, I live on the other side of town so that was not possible. They then lied and said they could no longer get into the building after getting into the building a few days prior. They then said that it is against their rules to contact the landlord for another set of keys. I can't believe the way I have been treated, a little bit of honesty goes along way and owning up to the fact it is their fault they lost the keys would have been good too.
