Having had very bad previous experiences with estate agents, it was a breath of fresh air when I came across Jenny & Nathan of Swetenhams Frodsham. Both went above and beyond not only to understand my needs and timescales but to keep me informed every step of the way. I didn’t need to ask of phone they were all over it, making my experience hassle free swift and exactly what I had hoped. We used Swetenhams to market one of our properties, it was not the quickest of processes but when it eventually got a sale agreed on it and it was passed to the sales progression department; was when Holly came on board. I have not kept a log of ALL the names of staff that have rung us but essentially, we had our property valued by the manager (Nichola) at Swetenhams in Frodsham last November and said we had some improvements do do and looking to put on market in the spring of this year. Between then and yesterday we have had constant telephone calls, too many to remember and some very early on weekend mornings asking us if we were ready to put it on the market. After around 9 calls by early spring (and bearing in mind we kept saying we would let them know when WE were ready and to stop hounding us) we went with another estate agent who was superb. We sold within a week and when Swetenhams rang yet again we told them it was sold and the reasons we did not go with them. We continued to get calls and each time we were more and more frustrated, having to tell them yet again it was sold and not to ring us. Each person promised to make sure they would take us off the system and so did the Manager a month ago so we felt that was that. We have since received 3 more calls and the last one yesterday from Adeel at 9am who said there were no notes on the system but he was adding them there and then (which is what we had been told each time before) so we should not get any more calls. If we get any more calls, we will take this further as it is so unprofessional. We are aware Swetenhams work on targets and callers have to do so many per day which is appalling! Let people get back to you if/when they are ready do not stalk people its so frustrating and then you carry on and on and on even when you are told a property is sold and by another estate again....why????

Very unprofessional. They are basically lying about house prices as a marketing strategy, and when challenged, admitted this with no shame.
