Despite endless M&P errors throughout the tenancy we managed to agree early termination. Moving out: M&P assured us it was in our interest to allow viewings wherever possible to find new tenants and reduce disruption. We gave access wherever possible including providing their own set of keys for when we were at work. Over the past 3 weeks I have come home to find the following: Front door left wide open !!! (x1) Front door doubled locked preventing us access (x2) All bedroom doors left open with no privacy (shared house) (x4) Lights left on all day (x6) Muddy Hallway (x8) M&P have given ridiculous explanations for all the above and denied responsibility wherever they think marginally possible. M&P are solely concerned with maximizing fees and could not care less about their tenants. Honestly save yourself a year of mistreatment for the sake of a relatively cheap signing fee.

Very disappointing service, better to avoid this agent.

Then M&P staff helped themselves to our possessions as the tenants has instructed them to clear the house without us knowing. Awful experience, worst I have had in 18 years of letting in London. And now find the tax they withheld we can’t get back. Please avoid the massive stress they have caused us which we paid large fees for!

Terrible experience with M&P from start to finish. When we originally put our flat up for rent, M&P proposed a tenant offering a rent far lower than their original valuation. When I later thanked them for their work-to-date but advised we would not be using them, M&P called back within an hour with a miraculous new offer, very close to the original asking price.
When our tenants were then signing the agreement, they were informed by M&P that we (the landlords) required an immediate signature as we were relocating to Australia (an outright lie) and would have to move ahead with another tenant if it didn't come in time (again, an outright lie).
The agent then, very helpfully, advised the tenant that we no longer required our sofa (completely against what was written within the signed agreement). On the basis of this, the sofa was later thrown out. By no means unexpected, but no reimbursement has been offered for this and no remorse shown in any way.
TERRIBLE FIRM, EMPLOYING TERRIBLE PEOPLE.

Marsh & Parson's at Clapham Old Town made the whole process of selling relatively stress free due to the company's considerate and positive approach. Thomas Barry and Thomas Crabtree are excellent agents and were highly professional throughout. Tom Barry really put a lot of effort into selling our property and importantly I had no worries about our cats during the many viewings! I would absolutely recommend this firm.

This is the second property I have bought through Marsh and Parsons and Tom Barry. Each time he has been extremely professional throughout the whole process and has kept me informed of progress at all times throughout the sale.
