Barkers on Braunstone gate are really bad. They're very quick to get your rent but take anything between 2 weeks to 2 months to doing anything else (Eg: repairs made).
When you ring up about a problem they'll say they've sent an email, I wonder whether they're actually connected to the internet because nothing.... ever.... happens.
You have to follow up on calls at least 2-3 times before anything gets done. They don't know what they're doing, they don't know what their colleagues are doing.
But they are friendly...
Comments on Agent Fees
They didn't seem too expensive. Looks to be around the same price as other agents

Dreadful! Everything was running smoothly until our move-in date. We got the keys from the estate agents and they told us to go to the property ourselves as there wasn't a member of staff available to let us in or carry out inventory for a couple of days, as it was a Saturday and they finish earlier. Arrived at the property and the previous tenant was still in there, asleep in bed - it was midday! Spoke to Humphreys immediately and told them that this was unacceptable. They said the tenant had overstayed his contract by a day and they were unaware of this. Barely given an apology and even if the tenant was due to move out the day before they should allow for a few days cleaning and checks before letting new tenants move in.
They offered to refund some of the deposit understandably. Got the cleaner in for 50 mins before we were due to move in on the revised date. The floors were still wet on arrival! The hot water went off a week after moving in as the boiler had to be repaired. Took over 8 days to organize this with us.
The remainder of the tenancy was okay although they were never very clear at communicating things to us and didn't really have a clue who had said or done what in their team.
When we moved out they took around 120 each from our deposit for "cleaning fees" which was a complete joke as we all know they spend less than an hour cleaning the entire property before new tenants move in. Not to mention the £90 checkout fee to leave. I complained about this and they refunded £30 each. It was a long process to get this, and I would not use their services ever again in future due to the overall experience.

Worst possible estate agents for students. Absolutely horrific we have not had a working over for 7 months. Mailed them countless times and called them up several times and it still has not been fixed.
List of problems when we first rented the property going up till now: -Oven not working (fixed after 2/3ish months and broke after less than a week and has not been sorted out since. A couple of contractors have come in and measurements have been done but 1 month after that....nothing) -Boiler not working -Therefore no hot water for the first month -Old boiler thrown into the corner of our garden (requested several times for it to be removed but nothing yet) -No working shower (fixed after first couple of weeks) -Mould across the kitchen wall. Told them about it and landlord just painted over it. As it was not special paint it peeled off very shortly after and has not been fixed since we told them about it months ago
To be fair we should've known how horrible they were since after we signed the tenancy agreement for a specific amount of rent they try to get us to resign it with an increased rent.
If you have Harry Lily as a property manager god rest your soul because you will be living in hell with an environment surrounded by stress and unfinished task which you have no control over. Had a friend deal with Harry as well and needless to say he was also useless with him.
For the love of god do not go here and fix my oven already.

I'm now having trouble getting my deposit back from the company where I've been told I will be called up to explain why it's not been returned yet, I'm still waiting on this call, further emails on the matter haven't been responded to. I can't tell if it's the landlord or the agency that is the problem, but the agency just seem to ignore everything.

Fees seem ridiculous considering how little we get from the company by way of help. Rent due at nonsensical times throughout the year- how are students who only get their loans at the end of September, January and April meant to pay nearly a grand at the end of June before even moving in?

The most awful experience any of my housemates have had with a letting agent/landlord. Arrived to the house which was full of rubbish (which we had to take to the dump in 3 car trips.) Half the lights were broken, one shower wasn't working (which they took 2 weeks to send someone out to fix it) and the hallway and lounge was left plastered in places but not painted. (We've been told for 3 weeks now that the plaster is still drying so nobody can decorate it- we might be students but we're not stupid) We've had someone try and smash a window, which needs replacing, and they have clearly ignored my email about this altogether. All the bedrooms have been left without keys, and the locksmith (according to Nicholas Humphreys) has been on his way for 3 weeks now. When you try and ring them to complain the student line mysteriously always gets ignored, and the answering machine is full so you can't leave a message. Funnily enough, if you call the professional lettings line in the same minute you get straight through. Absolutely disgusting treatment of students.

A) flat was let by barkers I was told that I would have all rent covered , I had to evict the tenant the flat cost three thounsand to put correct ,inspections had been carried out two weeks before( not ) And the property could be rented straight out( not )
B) lots of tenants reported issues these didn't get passed on to me
Many other issues
Tenants landlords don't know if their are problems so contact them direct
