I don't normally like to leave negative reviews but in this instance I feel I must to ensure that nobody else endures the terrible service I experienced whilst dealing with this company. The gentleman that came to value my house was very pleasant and seemed very encouraging regarding the sale of my house and ensured me that the staff at the office would be happy to help me and are always available to help me with any questions I may have. This is where the positives end. A few weeks later I had heard nothing from the office so I decided to call in to the office to see if there had been any interest in my house, on arrival the office was closed. I went again the next day and was greeted by a young lady who seemed very uninterested in my concerns and more preoccupied with her mobile phone. I waited a few moments assuming she was busy then she finally put down her mobile telephone and she asked if she could help. by this point I felt that she had no interest in selling my house and I left. After speaking to a friend who recommended another agent to me, I removed my house from the market with Beresfordadams after only a few weeks and went with the other agent. Within 11 days my house had 3 viewings and I was offered the asking price. NEVER again would I deal with this company. Overall: disappointing staff, unpredictable opening hours, extortionate selling fees for incompetent service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I received excellent customer service from all at Beresford Adams, Ruthin, especially Alun, Gethin and Lucie. Beresford managed all aspects of viewings and selling the property to such a high standard that I was able to rest assured knowing it was all being taken care of. This was very important because I did not live near by the property I was selling and therefore did not have to keep making the long journey backwards and forwards.

We bought and sold within the same 9 month period using this Branch of Beresfords, and to be honest, I cannot recommend them high enough. Gethin, Lucy and Alun were all extremely helpful, and I always felt that they had my interests at heart. The deal to sell went through very quickly as I requested and my purchase was handled very professionally by all members of the team, this being more tricky than usual purchases, it didn't phase the team. Keep up the Good work at the branch.

Lucie was excellent throught the process of purchasing the property - from showing me around the house and negotiating the sale with the vendor to the final completion date. She was always very pleasant on the phone and on email, and very easy to talk to.
Following the sale being agreed, Lucie kept in touch throughout updating me with the progress of the legal aspects, providing a link between myself and the vendors. She helped a lot with chasing the solicitors to help speed up the process.

Lucie has been extremely helpful and supportive throughout the whole process of buying my first home; she listened carefully to my initial requirements and arranged viewings for many suitable properties, so I could narrow it down to the one I bought. Having agreed to buy the property, Lucie then did a brilliant job of keeping communications clear between the vendors, myself, and our solicitors - invaluable throughout this complicated process! Lucie has been polite, cheerful and diligent in everything she has done for me, and really stood out above other estate agents that I have dealt with - highly recommended!

Cancelled our viewing advising the client had chosen to withdraw from the market. Particularly frustrated as we had made the 3 hour journey to the area the day before especially to see this house. A week later it is still on rightmove and I am told they haven't taken it off yet because they haven't heard from the vendor why they are taking it off and that they will keep marketing until they do! Will avoid dealing with them as clearly they market properties they have no ability to sell!

What agent could do to change your mind?
I will not be bullied around by some estate agent , as a result you've lost the sale and now your charging the poor vendors more for having his property listed with you. If you deal badly with buyers then good luck in the future. As a result I'm glad not to give you the satisfaction of the sale :(

At first they were great nice friendly experience, I put an offer in it was expected etc, I when to get a surveyor in and contacted them to see if they'd do it to they said yes and they be in contact with me when there available... 2 was went by no one contacted me so called in again and they fobbed me off with the same answer... Third time I asked they contacted back to me saying that there very busy at the moment but kindly gave me a number of local surveyor they used in the pass. I just wish they'd would of said that in the beginning... I had a few questions to ask 1 was the council tax band and second what was the vendor buying in electricity monthly yet again they said they'd get back to me and never did! The surveyor did how ever did answer me and did find a few fault that within the property like a flat roof was in need of attention and it prior to leak if left and to put things right it would cost in excess of £4000 so asked to reduce the price accordingly after a few phone calls etc they ask to see the surveyor report and only willing to prepare to meet me half way as it not a defcty to the property,. At this point I spoke to the manager and he was very rude to me over the phone and I decided from then I had enough and Withdraw for the sale and he raised his voice , I didn't put the phone down or anything but he later requested that I just think about it over night and he will ring me back in the morning , I was to furious to answer it. I did mention also sorry but the sale price of out property had to be reduced slightly and it has a knock on effect of what I was able to purchase and having £4000 to be spent on the property didn't add up quite well . Worked in my favour a property came on the market from cavendish residential beginning of May with in three weeks My offer is accepted ... Solicitors are almost completed there searches , the estate agent ... Well haven't step a foot in there everything had been done over the phone very pleasant young lady I spoke to as well :)
