Clyde Property in Clarkston were fine until we handed in our one month notice to vacate. During my last month in the property I had to deal with Clyde Property employee Liam MacKay. Liam has been the worst person I have had to deal with. He has been very unprofessional, condescending and worst of all a straight up liar! I confronted him via telephone regarding his lies and he simply changed the subject, put me on hold and then cut me off. I then had to call back and ask to be referred to his manager to sort things out. As a result of this behaviour I would never use Clyde Property in any capacity in the future and I recommend others do the same. Shocking service!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Acted professionally and not lied to me.

If I could give zero stars I would! We're currently renting a property through this agency and they are the absolute worst we have just been served with notice to quit for no sufficient reason we have always paid our rent but the minute we have a problem with something that they need to sort with landlord they blame us and make out that we are trouble makers basically they guy next door thinks he has the right to tell us where and where we can't park our car in a public street where there's no allocated parking spaces so because we have challenged him on this we are âtrouble makersâ and to make matters worse the woman that owns my house is the neighbors friend so she's obviously taking their side over this and Clyde who we have our contract with have told us in no uncertain terms that they NEED to look after the landlord and not us tenants so we are being evicted in two months time from today so more or less they are making a family with two young children homeless right after Christmas what a lovely estate agency they are!!! They are nothing but scumbags!!!!!!! STAY CLEAR

They charge too much for the service they provide. They claim to carry out two monthly inspections then say if the tenant doesn’t want to give access, they don’t have to. We now have an authorised HMO because of their incompetence.

During the actual inspections they got access for, the inspection agent happily took photos of extra beds, suitcases, toothbrushes and a fridge without asking why, when there was only one person listed on the tenancy agreement at our property. We continually challenged this and it was agreed, it was looking like an unauthorised occupancy, however nothing was done. In the end we have had to serve notice to quit due to the incompetence of Clyde who consistently ignore and cherry pick responses. They are alway quick to email anything that the tenant reports, however they do not enable you to gain access to carry out maintenance issues. The tenant has caused damage to our property, issues that fall within their tenant agreement as damage, however we have been told this will have to go to the tenancy deposit fund to rectify.

Landlords we used Clyde as we believed they would act as our agent and manage the property and ensure it was kept to the standard it was let at, this is not the case and falls well short of what we anticipated paying the fee each month for. Despite complaining they do not act accordingly. Do not put yourself through the stress they have caused us and use a reputable agency instead. We are now in the process of escalating our complaint to the relevant agencies.

We have been renting property with Clyde and are very impressed with Jordan kirkwoods efficiency.
Two recent repairs reported by our tenants have been resolved quickly. We have been informed beforehand and costs have been very reasonable with very good electrician and window repair man.
We are really happy with Clyde Property as our letting agent and what could have been a complicated journey of paperwork, building regulations, rent collection, leases and ongoing compliance has been a breeze.
We would recommend this great company

The fees are fair and great value for money. Everything that they can possibly do to make the transaction smooth and hassle free they do and that has to be worth something in most tenants minds. They hold your hand throughout the process.

We have used other agents in the past but have used Stephanie for the last 3/4 years and have never looked back. We will not change and delighted to continue using the services of Clyde and more specifically Stephanie.

I rented up until March of this year, and trust me, im still bitter, angry, conned by them.
They aint interested in doing repairs ( I reported dampness) but weren't interested.
Trust me, they and letting protection Scotland should be ashamed of themselves, the way they side on the landlords side.
I could go on, but like other reviews please please be careful if you rent from ' COWBOY CLYDE'

I would just like to thank Kay Blair and the team at Clyde Property Clarkston for all their help in selling my own property and for assisting me on the purchase of my new property.
