Having initially put our flat on the market with another local Purley estate agent, when our contract ended with them, after them only producing 5 viewings in 9 weeks on our gorgeous flat, we changed to Cubitt and West with Godfrey and Juliette. Godfrey assured me that our flat would sell. I was quite skeptical that c&w could do much more than the previous agent and expected that we would have to lower the asking price - but I could not have been more wrong - after our flat being on the market for less than a week, and our buyer viewing on the Sunday then the next day on the Monday, we had our offer on the Tuesday! We had expected to get at most £5k under the asking price but Godfrey managed just £2k under the asking price! We were so pleased that Godfrey had done what he said he would and actually exceeded our expectations! Juliette kept in contact with us all the time, either by phone or by updating the online log-in area to see when and who the viewings were and she explained everything that was going on so clearly. We couldn't be more pleased with the whole process of selling our flat with Cubitt & West in Purley; the photos/ brochure looked brilliant, the communication was excellent and most importantly we got such a good price for our property. I would not hesitate in recommending Cubitt & West Purley and would definitely use them again.

To put this simply without writing a very long essay, Godfrey and Juliet were first class from the moment we approached them to sell our property to the very end at completion.
We gave them 2 stints to sell our 1 bed maisonette and ultimately were successful coming to within a whisker of the asking price, these were tough times to sell such a limited property, but they did a great job and did it with class and professionalism.
The reason they were given 2 stints was because we thought we would try a different agent after an unsuccessful first stint, to say the least trying the other agent was a big mistake as (Barnard Marcus of South Croydon) was absolutely useless and we could not run back to Cubitt & West fast enough. But thats another write up...
Any how, Godfrey and Juliet got us through and we are very pleased with their services and could not recommend them higher. Godfrey is somewhat of a baby expert as he gave us some very handy advice for our first child (reason why we sold) and Juliet is probably too pretty to be an estate agent :)
Go see these guys and expect a great service and good end results.

My beautiful little flat had been on the market with two agents that promissed me the world, yet after roughly 2 months... had only shown a handful of people round blaming the lack of interest on the weather.
They kept pushing for me to reduce my properties price, however due to the ammount of work I was to be paying for upcoming communal maintenance I was unhappy to do this. In the end I felt bullied into reducing by 5k but at the same time got Godfrey back to discuss what Cubitt could do for me.
I bought my place through Cubitt, and though the initial higher fees with Cubitt had put me off, I thought I had nothing to loose. All I can say is... you get what you pay for!!! Godfrey has gone above and beyond all expectations of what I thought an estate agent would do for their client. He has always been contactable, has chased things from morning to night and has not stopped until he got results (which my solicitors unfortunately did not).
I would definitely recommend paying that little extra for a better service as Cubitt truly do put everything into making sure your sale is as stress free as possible. I shall definately be using Cubitt in future and shall also recommend them to all my friends and family.
The icing on the cake was that despite everything, not only did Cubitt make the sale of my flat as pain free and easy as possible (with help from Juliette too!) they also got me the FULL ASKING PRICE I hoped for!
....I guess it's lucky I didn't drop the price by 5k after all!
Well done Cubitt!!!
As promised the bubbles and card are on their way, I cannot thank you all enough.

Godfrey haire from cubbit and west was without a doubt the best out of all of them with his professional approach and superior marketing of my property.
What really stood out from the others was the photographs taken that really brought the home to life.
The sale went through very quickly as a large amount of people came on the opening day.eventually turning it into a bidding war and getting me a price better than i wanted.
I would highly recommend Godfrey haire and his team at cubbit and west.

Godfrey and his team promised new ideas and approaches to selling our house - and they delivered. This was our retirement move - of 300 miles, to Cornwall - so we were particularly keen that it should proceed as smoothly as possible. From the outset Godfrey and his team impressed us with their courtesy, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for selling our property. Communications were excellent, and the ability to access our account on their website was particularly helpful. It also showed exactly what they were doing to market our house, and we were highly impressed with the level of activity - details handed out, e-mails and text messages sent, and the feedback from viewings. We soon found an excellent buyer. Several problems arose with our vendor and Godfrey intervened smoothly and successfully on every occasion. The result is that for the last five months we have been enjoying our new home and will always remain grateful to Godfrey for helping us to move here. We have already recommended him to a friend, who has put their property on the market with Cubitt and West, and shares our high opinion of their professionalism.
