We went with Bridgfords because we were assued that they had buyers on their books who wanted this particular kind of property. Within a day, they contacted us to advise that we had an offer from a cash buyer. This prompted us to put in an offer on a house we wanted. The agent handling the purchase contacted Bridgfords to ascertain the status of the cash buyer. As it turns out, it wasn't a cash buyer but someone who was in a chain, albeit had been in the chain for a while and expected to complete imminently, hence being construed as a cash buyer.
We stuck with that person but it took 8 months to finally complete, albeit on a different property because the other agent didn't have confidence in Brigfords either
The agent acted in a totally unprofessional manner often not having a clue what was going on with the chain below and only making it confusing what was or wasn't happening.
I would recommend people to steer clear of this firm.

What agent could do to change your mind?
They should have been upfront with us from the start and mentioned the chain. They were too eager to conclude a sale instead of getting the facts right. After all, they were employed by us not the buyer or anyone else. They should not employ people in a customer facing position who are unfamiliar with the conveyancing process who only made matters worse.Attached Filesnbsp;
