There's a reason that this shambles of a company has an average rating below 2.
As a tenant I was lied to, repeatedly, about a variety of issues. I couldn't get my application deposit back, despite now occupying the property as "it is a fee, not a deposit" (lie, and illegal). The previous tenants lost part of the deposit because the property "had to be professionally cleaned". It very obviously hadn't been cleaned (fraud). Workmen were given keys to the property despite me insisting on being present (illegal).
The Countrywide maintenance team based at Woolston are a mess. Your issues will either be ignored, or you will have various staff try to contact you about the same thing, days apart, when the information is already on their system. They will lie to you and will ignore your complaints.
