After much research and deliberation we carefully selected Stags to market our property. Sadly the experience fell short of our expectations.
After Stags had inspected our property and deemed it suitable as the type of property they would be willing to market, Stags informed us that their fee was absolutely non negotiable.
We agreed to continue, but in hindsight wished we hadn't.
Stags were unable to accompany the majority of our viewing, even with a weeks notice at a notorious quiet time of year.
Towards the end of proceedings, Stags failed to pass on vital communication with our buyer which resulted in the buyer coming to us directly for information on the progress of the sale.
We were starting to wonder what we were paying Stags to do as we seemed to be doing all the work ourselves.
Our advice would be- select an alternative estate agent who have the courtesy and time to concentrate on your property rather than making you feel like an inconvenience.
We can only hope that this review will save some poor souls from the same anguish and frustration that we endured.

As you correctly stated, Stags were unable to attend two of our viewing...two out of a total of THREE viewings we may add.
We can only hope that Stags have acted on advice issued to them by The Ombudsman Services: Property, to prevent others experiencing a service that falls below expectations.
