Simon helped us initially with a valuation for probate.

We would like to thank Lee and his team at Stags. They were professional and caring team. I work from home so viewings had to be at certain times due to the nature of my job I couldn't have people looking around whilst working. They accommodated this and nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to act when a sale fell through and we quickly had another buyer within the week. We sold a beautiful home and STAGS know how to sell and complete the process well. Thanks to Lynne too as we waited for exchange she handled the stress with exemplary skills. We have sold with them before and purchased with them. Wouldn't use any other agent.

Grateful to the team at Stags for all their efforts these past months. I had used the Barnstaple team previously and did not even consider another agent this time around. Stags know the area and specifics to localities so well. Simon gave fantastic advise from the very start of a development which I was always grateful for. Will is a good guy and has excellent interpersonal skills and manner that really can make the difference in a negotiation or tricky emotive situation. Also, so responsive when things went sour to get us back on track. The only point of feedback which is more towards the sales process in general we have in this country which is in need of reform and regulation, is that Stags could have been more thorough in their due diligence into chains and communication of that to me which was lacking on two occasions in my view. Specifically, I did not receive any written detail of the chains, only verbal, which made me frustrated when things came out in the wash, and the chain collapsed. Conscious not to blame the agent for the outcome entirely here as that would be unfair but more rigour would have improved experience further. I still give 5 stars as they deserve recognition overall and I am grateful.

We were buyers on this transaction, so not Stags clients, but they were absolutely excellent from the start of our property search to exchange of contracts, and if I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling in the West Country.
The whole team were helpful but Lee in particular has gone out of his way to assist us, particularly with regard to repeated viewings for prospective works, and facilitating our overnight stays when necessary as out of area buyers. I have the highest praise for the assistance he has given which has smoothed the transaction along.

We have been very satisfied with the service from Stags. We were happy with the asking price they proposed and which they achieved, be it at a time when the market is very buoyant. They have a two tier fee structure depending on the price achieved. Make sure you are quite clear on the threshold at which the percentage changes. Verbally we understood the higher percentage applied to a sale for "more than" the asking price. In fact it was for a sale "at or more than" the asking price so we were caught out. In fairness the signed agreement was clear and we reached an amicable agreement.
