Jack and David made the sale of our house extremely easy and stress free. They were always very professional and helpful and were happy to get totally stuck in. Jack would constantly update us on viewings and feedback and was always very constructive with his feedback and would not hesitate to throw some ideas around to help us sell the property. When we got an offer, jack was very professional in negotiating with our buyers and got the deal sealed efficiently. Once we were under offer, Jack and David would get very stuck in and progress the sale. They were happy to talk to anyone from our solicitors to the buyers solicitors, and always kept us informed and in the loop which definitely helped us keep calm and not worry! I would like to thank Jack and David for all their hard work, persistence and enthusiasm, they provided first class service throughout the whole process and it was greatly appreciated!!

I have no idea how much the agents fees are because the solicitor that Gasgoine Pees instructed will not send my mother the balance for the sale of her house & we have not received a break down of the fees, despite requesting them several times,

I used Gascoigne Pees to sell my elderly mothers house & to purchase a flat. We agreed an asking price for my mothers three bedroom house & the agent went away to start sale proceedings, before the house had even gone on the market the agent rang me & said that we should drop the price by £50,000 I'm sure he suggested this because the people who's flat mum was buying were looking for a 3 bedroom house & had they requested a viewing of mums house the agent wanted us to drop the price so that they may put in an offer, we didn't drop the price & the house was sold to someone else for £5,000 less than the asking price. When my mother went to view the flat, she like it & the agent told her to put an offer in of £10,000 over the asking price, which she did, what they didn't tell her was that the flat had been on the market for over six months & they had reduced the price because it was not selling. They took advantage of a 92 year old lady which is appaling. I would never ever use Gascogine Pees again, or the solicitors that they instructed to handle the sale & purchase as they are all totally incompetent.

We first saw this rather dark little house with a bright, positive Sophie who was able to lift our spirits enough to make an offer within 10 or so minutes. We liked the personal service from both - they knew our names, our situation, our future purchase as soon as we rang, and we did not have to wait long for the phone to be answered either - another big bonus in our books. We were able to talk freely about the potential and headaches, the work required and costs involved, without feeling bossed or that they were trying to cover anything up. Alex in particular, went out of his way to help us acquaint ourselves with the town of Alton and that personal service was the icing on the cake. Thank you

Gascoigne Pees have stolen �150 off of me.
During an initial conversation about renting a property I was open and honest with the agency, telling them to expect CCJs come back in my partner's name (something she was lumbered with from an ex) and explained the full situation.
I was told to pay my �500 holding deposit, and I would get a FULL refund if there was a problem. At that point, the land lady accepted us and we moved forward, booking a removal company and paying that deposit etc.
Then, 2 weeks before moving (and giving out notice at our current home), we were told the land lady had changed her mind.
Gpees have refunded only �350, saying that it was our fault that 2 CCJs came up - they only told the lad lady about one.
We were open, honest and frank about the entire situation and were promised a full refund.
Thieves, unwilling to admit their own mistakes, who left us out of pocket and almost homeless. There only solution offered was a crappy little house covered in mould.
Avoid Gascoigne Pees.

Where do you start, you think that buying a dream home would be a dream, well at Gascoigne Pees Alton they'll squash that thought. Forget customer service, good communication, honesty and working in everyone's interest, you'll get none of that. Instead you'll get David Craig, who specialises in corporate bullying, talks down to you and will tell you that you're of no interest to him, he will be aggressive, rude and vile to the point he'll have no qualms to proverbially throw you under the bus and then not content with that will trample all over you. Great customer service, being professional, being a great communicator and working in the interest of everyone eludes Gascoigne Pees, Just when you think it cannot get any worst when you pick the keys up, Gascoigne Pees will not even make you feel welcome, not engage with you, not be contrite, they'll just make sure you end the journey as you started - Disappointed

Our only concern was the condition the property was left in by the previous owner ,inside and out ,including a 3 piece bathroom suit dumped in the bushes in the back garden was 1 of the smaller finds .is there not a way estate agent could check the property was cleaned inside and out .were on our 3 rd skip just emptying the back garden at considerable cost to us .

Our property proved tricky to sell for lots reasons, taking 3 years and 2 previous agents. David, Sarah and the team were both immensely encouraging and extremely professional in the way they marketed our property. We had some concerns that the property ‘would not sell' but Gascoigne and Pees remained focused and we eventually sold to a return purchaser from a chain that had collapsed, at a price not far from the asking. Indeed, at the end we had 3 parties interested in purchasing; full marks to the Team. Having previously marketed without success with 2 other local agents we can compare service directly and without doubt GP were with us and not serving their own interests or priorities. We would recommend Gascoigne and Pees without reservation.
