I can honestly say I have never come across a bunch of more unprofessional, incompetent and down right infuriating staff as those I encountered when dealing with JLL for my recent tenancy arrangement. We have been plagued with issues from day one when we agreed to rent a property through JLL's Manchester branch.
Our contract was wrong, we were wrongly charged a £50 admin fee for a guarantor we didn't need, our property was not ready when we checked in, we were missing keys, we were given the wrong date to set up standing orders for rent then accused of withholding money despite my attempts to make the situation clear.
Generally getting hold of someone at the branch to try and discuss the issues is like getting blood from a stone, unless they want money from you in which case they are super efficient. In less than 2 months we have had so many issues and the only way to get them sorted is to CC in Lee Hill, the branch director, in order to get someone to give someone else a boot up the arse and stop ignoring emails from tenants.
I'm not sure whether we had a particularly bad experience that is not the norm however, looking at reviews on here, I feel like bad service is the rule, not the exception. For a company with a relatively good reputation in the business, I feel they really need to look into their staff training practices and maybe even their staff hiring practices as the team here are letting down the company by being less than jobsworths.
What agent could do to change your mind?
JLL really need to work on how their staff treat their customers and their customers' issues. When they are getting money from you, they are great, as soon as you have paid, you will be ignored. No company is THAT busy that they cannot acknowledge tenants' emails. Its bad management, bad hiring principles and giving the company a terrible reputation. It really needs working on as I wish to remain in my current property yet I wouldn't stay due to the letting agents

Comment on agent fees
We were charged money for an administrative process that was not necessary and getting the money refunded was a task in itself.
