0 follow up and 0 cooperation got from the team. Paid for deposit and for administration fees including legal packs and etc and end up no one sent the packs and no follow up from anyone to assist the whole process. The only communication that I get is to ask for payment, money money money. After paying for, no assistance NOTHING!
They told mortgage team the purchase had been cancelled and not letting the valuator to their job.
Second appointment for the valuator to go, they don't cooperate and not giving access to valuator.
They just want to make a lot of problem so that they can make you forfeit the upfront money that you paid.
When you try to get a reason for their unprofessional, they will only tell you it's all your fault for not being able to do the whole process on time. Which, the issue lies with them.
Unrecommended company.
Georgina Wood will act like she don't know anything and push the responsibilities to someone else and keep quiet and not assist.
Sam the so call area manager is even worse, not only he did not review the whole case and will only tell you it's all your own fault. He only know how to push all the faults to you and make you forfeit the money.
BAD COMPANY NO ASSISTANCE NO FOLLOW UP THEY JUST WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY FROM THE INITIAL PAYMENT AND DO THE SAME ROTATION AGAIN AND AGAIN

Avoid
Waste of time
Chris told me he had a long list of property developers/ buyers for my property.
After no viewings Steven explained there was no list of buyers.
He explained they only advertised on Rightmove or similar, for which they charge £250 to £500 .
No direct marketing…… just Rightmove and hope… waste of time
All other estate agents do this for free .
No sale …as no bids …as no viewing's..
Chris called to say the reserve was not met …. No one bid !!!!!! …. He started his waffle…
Steven told me a load of excuses over other potential buyers …more waffle…
Then For Chris to call me back with more waffle , contradicting what Steven had said ….
Stuttering on the phone when I pointed out , his and Steven excuses didn't match !!!!….
Told Chris I was ending the phone call as I couldn't listen to his waffle anymore..
What a waste of time ..
You didn't have a list of buyers as no viewing….. no bids …. No sale ….just a load of waffle..
Chris believes his own lies and expects others to believe them as well …
Spoke to other agents in the area …. No one has a good word to say about Chris and his waffle ….

I would definitely recommend Auction House of Birmingham and Black Country if you are looking for a quick sale or maybe where you are trying to sell a property needing some TLC. Chris went through the auction process, the fees and the steps I'd need to take if I wanted to auction the property, but without the sales patter and flannel you can often get from estate agents; which was very much appreciated.
Chris has a long history in both the estate agent and auction business which was very useful. He was personable, professional and amenable throughout, often answering questions that came up at inopportune moments, as we were new to this process and also extremely busy with work commitments. The property guide price was realistic and when I signed the contract the process for taking photos and sharing details with potential bidders was extremely quick.
We were encouraged to watch an online auction through Auction House, so we could get a fuller understanding of the process and what to expect when the property went to auction, this was extremely useful. The auction went ahead smoothly and the final bid received was £40k over the original guide price. From auction date to completion it took just under 5 weeks and with no stress throughout. Thank you Chris; to you and your staff.

Found out the hard way , why a property is sent to auction !! Beware lots of reasons why a landlord sends a property to auction. Tennant left loads 5 skips of rubbish , House was registered with a open case with the council in a disrepair state and this never declared to me . I now have this ... Read Full Review

Beware lots of reasons why a landlord sends a property to auction. Tennant left loads 5 skips of rubbish , House was registered with a open case with the council in a disrepair state and this never declared to me . I now have this passed onto me!!
Take your time have a survey as it's a rush at auction and no cheaper in the long run .

We started off speaking to Empty Homes (Within Leeds City Council)
They put us in touch with Chris as Auction House
We can honestly say that the whole procedure of selling the property within the Auction has been stress free.
Chris dealt with everything including arranging Solicitors.
The only thing we had to do was sign paperwork.
We was extremley happy with the price Chris managed to obtain via the auction
Today the sale has completed with the help of the very competant solicitor, Michelle at Beaumont Solicitors
We would like to thank both Empty Homes, Chris at Leeds Auction House and Michelle at Beaumont solicitors for making what was a stressful time into a smooth and stressfree process.

Our valuer Chris Jackson was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with. From our initial point of contact, throughout the valuation process and throughout the actual auction we have been kept fully informed and supported by Chris.
We feel that the auction was very professional and the auctioneer was very enthusiastic and helped us to achieve a selling value higher than our expectations.

A great experience selling my property through Auction House West Yorkshire. Chris was extremely helpful from the outset. Chris / his team visited the property and took a number of very good images along with a detailed video of the property. Chris described the property very well and took on board some of my comments that I appreciated.
In the weeks running up to the auction, I was contacted by Stephen who regularly updated me on how many people had registered to bid on my property. In the final days I also spoke to James, the auctioneer who reassured me my property was highly likely to sell. I was delighted my house sold, greatly exceeding the guide price.
I am grateful to all the team at Auction House West Yorkshire. I would encourage anyone thinking of selling their property to speak to Auction House West Yorkshire, you’ll not be dissapointed!
