One star is generous!!!
Very bad organisational skills. Told myself and my partner it was ok for me to hand in my 4 weeks notice at my current property and then told me after I due to my bad credit we was not eligible despite my partners high earnings, our guarantor and our current landlord good reference. I told them about my credit being quite poor and they had the cheek to tell me I didnt. We have two kids!!!! Why do they think this is ok and I would happily put there stability at RISK!! and due to these reasons our current landlord has now said to retract we need to enter into another 6 months which is not what we wanted to do as we feel we can find somewhere cheaper. We now have just over 3 weeks to find another property and to be honest I'm quite stressed. They showed no remorse nor did they apologise and I'm quite disappointed in the way they have treated us.
If you want professional, empathic and generally a smooth transition into a property whether rent or to buy stay clear!!

Worst experience I have ever had with an estate agent. Property valued by Paul Dubberley then within 8 weeks asked to reduce by 10k even though they valued it initially. Advised houses were selling in area then left with a Junior Buyer who did not have a clue what he was doing. EPC sent to someone... Read Full Review

Advised by agent they would put us in touch with a solicitors service that they got absolutely nothing from . After speaking to the solicitor they actually get £100 for each person that signs up !!!!

Worst experience I have ever had with an estate agent. Property valued by Paul Dubberley then within 8 weeks asked to reduce by 10k even though they valued it initially. Advised houses were selling in area then left with a Junior Buyer who did not have a clue what he was doing. EPC sent to someone else's email address after chasing and being told it had been sent then confirming email address was wrong. Initial description several mistakes again had to ring 3 or 4 times to get them to up date. Poor service. Poor team work.

Could have learned Housing Law and Duty of Care (since they are part of Ombudsman), then worked within the guidelines of them. Instead they threaten (harassment) and make allegations (have much documented proof of).

Clues are; ‘Tenants Liability Insurance' is not mandatory for a totally unfurnished property? Second clue; under no circumstances can an Agent or Landlord enter your property without permission, unless in a dire emergency. If they threaten to enter and change your locks if your not present 'ILLEGAL EVICTION!!' Criminal act (imprisonment and fine is outcome for that)!! Third clue; making false allegations against you in an attempt to get what they want, their way, defamation of character. Last clue; telling you who you can and cannot contact (eg Landlord), tut, tut Mr & Ms Morton. Then a section 21 because a tenant happens to know more about Housing Law then the Agent, VERY BIG TUT, TUT!! To the clue giver, this Agents have acted outside the law, attempted to cover it up with tall tales, when caught out, chose to evict. If you're with an Agent and you believe they are doing something wrong, they probably are? Your local council have a private tenants section, they can give help/advice, mostly on outstanding disrepair issues, or attempts to break in. Otherwise go to your local CAB for help and advice. DON'T TRUST THESE AGENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They have proven incompetence in less than three months of my tenancy, if/when they do decide to respond (only quickly when to their advantage), it is in a very rude and arrogant manner!!

Stayed within the law by learning about it and treating people with at least a little respect. Their whole behaviour from the outset has been beyond appalling!! But obviously they waited until they received my money and contract, then showed their true nature.

Prompt with repairs, ensure they were prepared for us moving in and generally given a damn!

So far i have been moved in a week and have had problems from the start. The day we moved in they didnt have the keys prepared so i had a "spare" which i later found out wasnt a spare at all and was a key for somewhere else and so couldnt get in (postponing my move in date by a day as they were closed by the time we found the problem).
When we did move in i found several faults with the property (such as lack of hot water, faulty cooker and faulty washing machine). After a week and a half of phoning them everyday and chasing up the problem still no one has been sent round to view the problems.
The estate agents are irresponsible and generally have no regard for you once you sign on the dotted line. They didnt provide us with correct information and were generally unprepared.
Avoid if at all possible!!

Agency ha never passed the information to us, we always has to chase for it, never contacted us on time, kept ignoring our quieries. I had to contact landlord first asking him to contact the agency as each time we have contacted them we have been ignored. Very irresponsible Staff, which dosen't have a knowledge of what they do. Deposit has not been re-paid even after 3 weeks, now agency told us that they are not responsible for it?! Giving us an information that it is down to Landlord now, we have contacted him, and he has been informed by Paul that it's their responsibility from the begining?! Agency has arranged viewing on the property which we lived in for a different couple, never bodered to confirm time of their visit with us.

I can only describe the staff at West Bromwich as the most appalling, obnoxious and contentious people I have ever had to deal with. The most unbelievable experience with them happened when I booked to view a house and I turned up on the day requested only to find nobody there. I rang to see where thy were only to get a rude young women on the phone who promptly told me "I had the wrong time, goodbye." Bare in mind that the time I had was only 15 mins after the one she supposedly had, you could understand my frustrations when she told me nobody else could show me round that day and she put the phone down. I rang back a third time asking why she put the phone down and she said I was causing an argument. I told her I wasn't and that I just wanted to view the house but the service being provided "was crap!" at which point she put the phone down again. Needless to say we didn't view the house that day after ringing back another two times but getting the same reactions from the appalling estate agents.
