I had a very disappointing experience with Palmer & Partners Colchester. Their communication was abysmal. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via email, I never received any responses. When following up by phone I did get a reply, but it was often vague and unhelpful.
At the property viewing itself, the agent turned up late and then rushed us around the property stating she needed to leave.
There were several instances where I was left in the dark about important updates. It’s frustrating to feel ignored, especially when dealing with something as significant as buying a property.
I would not recommend Palmer & Partners if you value clear and consistent communication.

Stay away from the Colchester office. Rude, condescending and disrespectful lettings team, largely thanks to the attitude of Jon Gallop. If you are a renter, they will give you the run around, disregard your time by not honoring the appointment times they set, and when you express your... Read Full Review

Stay away from the Colchester office. Rude, condescending and disrespectful lettings team, largely thanks to the attitude of Jon Gallop. If you are a renter, they will give you the run around, disregard your time by not honoring the appointment times they set, and when you express your disappointment, tell you that you should just free up your day for them.

I struggle to understand the logic behind this agency. After signing a contract and agreeing that they would send me a video of the house to show me, I never received anything. I patiently waited a week because I was told they were understaffed because of the covid but two days after the date we had set to receive the video I contacted them to find out what happened to them. Their response was that the flat had already been rented. I think the inadequacy of this agency is self-explanatory. I would just like to add that I desperately needed this apartment because I urgently needed to move in the city but instead I was taken for a ride and lost 10 precious days that I could have used to contact some other landlord.
