I've recently moved in to my property having been shown round by Eliot who was very helpful. Had a few minor issues when I first moved in, notably a leak under the sink and bathroom door that wouldn't lock. I reported these to Sophie in the office and these were all quickly fixed in a polite yet efficient manner. I'm very pleased with the service provided. Everyone in the office are friendly and even the maintenance man was helpful.

I have been a tenant with Northwood since April 2017 and can not express how happy I have been with my renting experience. All documents are completed online making it easier to keep track of things. I was given plenty of notice when I was due a routine inspection and when I needed to renew my contract for another 6 months. The flat itself was in good condition when I moved in and I was informed that decorating was allowed as long as it was returned to a neutral state. The move in process was quick, easy and ran very smoothly.

Northwoods managed my property in Leicester for 10 years following my move to Bristol. We have recently had to put a buy-to-let property on the market to sell, due to the loan coming to an end. Gosia at Northwood Leicester made sure we were able to keep the tenant happy right up to the completion, so the new owner has a good tenant and we have a sale. We also got a better price than we expected as the market had gone up, but getting rent throughout was a bonus we hadn't expected. Very appreciative of excellent help.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Well, not fees as such - in fact no fees. Slightly less rent than the theoretical maximum on other agent's schemes, but when the rent stopped coming in I would have received NOTHING - with Northwood I still get the full contract. Great!

In the first instance, complaints are directed to the local office, Northwood (Leicester) Ltd, where any matters will be reviewed by the Director in an impartial fashion and a viewpoint reached as to validity of the complaint; this will be communicated to the client in writing. Thereafter, if this is deemed insufficient, issues can be elevated to the Franchise Office of Northwood (GB) Ltd, and if necessary then to The Property Ombudsman. The whole complaints procedure is available in written form on request.
