Nice & friendly until you sign the contract (Tenant) and after that just delays upon delays upon delays. Lots of faffing around and little of actually doing anything. Utterly ignored when trying to get our deposit back, dispute in progress. Avoid like a plague if you... Read Full Review

Ask for any references they get for you on your behalf and vet them carefully and ask for a copy of the tenants passports. They do not check references sufficiently and the people they use to do some of this for them dont either.
Be aware that they will tell the tenant the landlord wants a 3 year contract with a tow year break clause and they will tell the landlord the tenant wants a 3 year contract with a 2 year break clause. This is not a good contract to have in the event the tenant falls behind on rent. M&P simply want a two year minimum contract so they can take all their fees in the first year for both years.
If the tenant defaults on the rent - they said to us, they paid me back commission on unpaid rent as a gesture of goodwill - please note legally they have to.
If you leave keys with them, they put all the sets they have on one ring and give them out as such - so in our case gave both sets of keys to a contractor - apparently standard practise.
Without going into detail we would be reluctant to use them again.
