My only gripe would be with a temp who was working at the branch. I didn't think he had a feel for Thames Ditton prices. I had to give him the price per square foot of two other flats in order to justify our asking price (two other agencies valued our flat at the price marketed by Lords). He also failed to pass on some key information to Mark.
Other than that we'd be happy to use Lords again

Vinesh was a fantastic person to deal with, throughout a long and protracted purchase process. He was calm, kept the chain of five buyers/sellers intact, and kept us informed every step of the way. He enabled us to get the house we'd fallen in love with, and applied pressure on lawyers / other purchasers where necessary to enable us to get into the house just before the birth of our first baby. During my purchase of the property I found Mark and Caitriona very helpful and supportive. I also found that Jamie was very helpful when Mark was away on leave. Although I was buying a property and was not their client, Lords treated me with great courtesy. I never felt pressurised by them nor did they give me the usual rubbishy sales spiel that other agents delight in. What I got from Caitriona at the viewings were facts, plain and simple. I viewed two properties at separate times with Caitriona and when I didn't like the first one, no pressure was put on me to buy. I loved the second property and put in an offer and Mark got back to me promptly to tell me the owner had accepted and all paperwork was sent promptly. Unfortunately, the seller had various problems regarding moving out of the property and Mark and Caitriona kept me informed at all times of these. There were times when calling them, rather than either solicitor, was my preferred option as I knew they would respond quickly. When the seller was still procrastinating, Mark and Caitriona facilitated an agreement between us. If I am ever selling in London, Lords will be my first port of call. It is sadly remarkable to come across such honest, efficient and straightforward estate agents, but Lords Surbiton are certainly that.

Complaints Procedure
THE LORDS PARTNERSHIP LIMITED trading as (LORDS ESTATE AGENTS) COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
1. Lords Estate Agents, is a Member of The Property Ombudsman (TPO), and aims to provide the highest standards of service to all of its customers. To ensure that their interests are safeguarded and in the rare event that a problem arises, a complaints procedure has been introduced. This provides for the matter to be dealt with internally by the management of the Company, and in the event that we are not able to deal with the issue to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, by reference to The Property Ombudsman.
2. If you believe you have a complaint, please write in the first instance to The Managing Director at:

3. A complaint will wherever possible be acknowledged within 24 hours but no longer than 3 working days, investigated thoroughly in accordance with established in-house procedures and a formal reply will be sent within 15 working days of receipt of the complaint.
4. If the complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of our initial investigation, they are provided with a further opportunity to have the complaint reviewed by another of the Lords Directors by writing again to the address shown above.
5. In the event that the final review as detailed above still fails to satisfy the complainant, then the complainant is at liberty to have the matter referred to the Property Ombudsman. We will submit our file to the Ombudsman on request and subject to consent. The complainant is also entitled to have their complaint referred to the Ombudsman should we fail to deal with matters promptly or not complied with our in-house complaints procedure within 8 weeks from the date we receive a written notification of the grievance.
