Incompetent! The FACTS; Tuesday, spoke to Lauren "Can I view 60 Tenth St ASAP please?" Reply "Can't do anything until Friday". "I'm very keen, please try" Reply " OK, i'll contact the owner " NO REPLY RECEIVED. Wednesday I call Lauren. "Did you manage to contact the owner?" Reply "No, left a voicemail. I'll come back to you". NO REPLY RECEIVED. Wednesday PM, web chat to Sam. I explained what has happened so far. He apologised, took my details and said he would come back to me. NO REPLY RECEIVED. Thursday I call and ask to speak to the sales manager. Speak to Gale, explain my frustration. Says I can view after 3 other viewers on Friday. Says come about 10;50am but I might have to wait a few minutes until others leave. Says I'm not registered and takes all my details again! Friday I arrive at exactly 1100 after an hours journey. Nobody at the property. Telephone and speak to Tracey who states Gale had an appointment at 1100 at another property and had to leave! Explain Iv'e traveled an hour to get here. I ask if someone can come back. Tracey asks if I can wait two hours! Terrible 'customer service'.

I've just been chucked off Kimmitt and Roberts' books!! (Seaham Office). I was a seller (vendor). I dared to question the sale price Mr David Kimmitt placed on my house. I asked for the price to be reduced to what I consider a more realistic level (given the recent research I've done) but he refused.
Mr David Kimmitt doesn't like sellers to have their own thoughts or opinions about their own properties, even though he supposedly provides a public service as an estate agent and charges you thousands of pounds.
I wanted my home to be photographed empty, but he wouldn't agree to that.
He had previously unprofessionally photographed his knees in one shot, but I didn't ask for the shot to be re-done, I made light of it and let it go, I tried to be kind.
I am extremely sorry I gave Kimmitts (Seaham) the opportunity to market my nice little house, but we all make mistakes. What a waste of time. What a terrible way to treat a good, genuine seller.
Be very careful if you approach Mr David Kimmitt. And for heaven's sake, don't question his opinion, or ask him any questions about anything he's sold.
(By the way, Sam Cranmer, who handles emails, is excellent.)

"We were extremely impressed with the level of professionalism shown by every member of the company that we dealt with from the time we put the property on the market in May to completion of the sale today. All were friendly and went out of their way to help the sale go through. This was particularly shown in the last few weeks when you were chasing up solicitors to get the sale through to completion. Throughout this process you kept us continually in touch with what was happening. We were also grateful to your lettings department who in under24 hours arranged for the property to be temporarily let to the purchaser prior to the completion."
