We recently completed on the sale of our Listed character property through the restrictions of the pandemic, but at every stage professionally handled by Henry Burgess and his team in James Sellicks' Oakham office. Henry's experience, knowledge of Rutland and its property market, combined with his calm and approachable personality, made what was at times a rather fraught process as easy as possible. He was unstinting in his willingness to facilitate what was necessary to achieve our sale including supporting potential buyers' detailed queries and more than once, accommodating viewing requests or dealing with telephone conversations on his day off. Henry worked alongside our conveyancing solicitor, appropriately communicating directly when it meant a quick resolution to a potential snag. We wholeheartedly recommend Henry and the James Sellicks Oakham team and thank him, Caroline, Jo and Lauren for their friendliness, integrity and professionalism.

We asked Henry at James Sellicks to sell our house as he seemed to have good local knowledge (schools, amenities etc) as well as knowledge of the type of property we were selling - country property with stables and land. He found us a buyer extremely quickly and he and Lauren worked incredibly hard to make the rather long chain work. They were diligent in following up progress and communicating with us.

I have dealt with a large number of estate agents over the years and this was far and away my best experience. Feed back throughout the process and constant updates. Their checking of the chain of buyers kept me fully informed of any likely issues. I would not hesitate to use them again for any future sales or purchases.
Henry and Alex both offer a very personal and professional service. They have restored my faith in estate agents which until recently was not very high. Large National agents could do well to look at The Sellicks Formula.
