We are pleased to write a review for the services received from Ian Tonge Property services, High lane Stockport.
From the manager to staff they were all customer focused, provided us with updates on a regular basis and went out of their way to go the extra mile. The manager in particular was superb providing a top class service. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I would thoroughly recommend this estate agents branch. Sue was absolutely brilliant at her job. She was sensitive to the needs of the buyer and really looked after her, as well as us. She was exceptionally efficient and always kept us fully updated with the progress. She was very professional and proactive in chasing up solicitors and getting things moving. Sue put in so much time and effort to ensure the sale/purchase ran as smoothly as possible and was always available. This made the whole process less stressful and more bearable for all.

What agent could do to change your mind?
This agent needs to seriously reflect on how they work with buyers. The impression we picked up on numerous occasions was that our queries were a major inconvenience. There was one particular member of staff who seemed to get a buzz from patronising us - particularly so on the phone.

We had to deal with Ian Tonge High Lane office when purchasing a property in Nov 2013. There were naturally a number of issues to work out along the way and the staff there were unwilling, awkward and at times damn right patronising. We ended up having to commission our solicitor to communicate with the vendor on some relatively minor issues.
Whilst we cannot speak for Ian Tonge in general, the office staff at this particular branch seriously need to re-consider their approach - had we not been so set on the house listed with them, we would have walked away. And we certainly won't be using them if / when we come to sell.
Simple lessons in phone manners would be a start.
