Had a viewing arranged in Birmingham in jewellery quarter. Had to travel all the way from swansea only to find that the apartment was already taken and tenants have moved in.
Not only that but I was not met by anyone from the agency for the viewing as scheduled was just waiting for a good ten minutes until I called someone from reception. On top of this. I did not get any response from the agents side when I communicated my dissatisfaction. Terrible experience and would definitely not be using this agency or recommending to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first few months at our apartment block. Rent was slightly discounted due to repairs on the building. They promised scaffolding to come down Nov 2021, then it was Jan 2022 and to this day (Aug 2022) it is still up and are charging us full price. We have not seen any workers on site since January. Unfortunately I was a victim of fraud a couple months ago and they have in no way been supportive. Have accused us of withholding payments, made us feel like we are in the wrong for the fraud. The way I have been spoken to and dealt with I am lost for words. They do not care about how there tenants feel or what they go through, they care about getting their money and getting it their way. They expect everything to go on there terms which is not the case. I do not recommend Grainger one bit and they really need to teach their staff human decency.

No one cares
Is freezing in my room since 24 November 2021 and yet I keep taking to this and that manager and No one cares to send someone to look at it
They did send an engendering but he said he is the wrong person and the issue is yet not solved
I came back yesterday Monday 29 November 2021 and my room door was unlocked as the gas checker was checking the gas in my room and they left it open because no one cares about my privacy although I requested from them many times not to enter my room without pre arranging with me first
No one cares, I am freezing every night and this is affecting my earnings at work and my health
No one cares and I am not getting heard. I am paying my rent in full but no one cares

BEWARE of Grainger PLC and Luke Pollard.
If I could give negative stars I would.

I unfortunately rented a 2 bed flat via Grainger for 4 months. I had no intention of my stay being so short and having to move again, however due to unsavoury fellow residents in the block who decided to harrass myself and another couple, I had no choice but to move. Despite photographic and video evidence of this harassment as well as detrimental effects on my mental health plus Police reports, Grainger did nothing. After 1 month of arguing with Grainger that they owed me a duty of care to ensure I was living in a safe environment (at one point I didn't want to leave my flat) they finally allowed me to leave my contract early but not without wanting to charge me the remainder of the 6 months rent! Needless to say this was not going to happen given the complete lack of care for their tenants. Grainger would not take any action against the tenants in question as they were Council and therefore 'worth' a lot more money to the company than 1/2 privately rented flats. Avoid this company.

I have been with the Grainger for two years and I am delighted that my new flat is managed by the same agency.
It really feels personal and I know I'm being supported by the great team. Luke and Sophie have always answered my emails promptly and went above and beyond to make sure my request was resolved asap. I had a repairman visit and the new washing machine installed in 4 days from when I reported the fault. Fantastic job.

I've been in an intenable flat for some 6 months now. To this date they haven't been evicted and Grainger's complaints saw no scope for compensation.rnrnI've attempted talking to the neighbours and been told to "f off".rnrnThe rep at Grainger has been extremely pleasant to deal with - but in hindsight the whole situation has been poorly handled.

We were due to move into our flat on friday.nothing but problems from start to finish,at the start of the process everything went smoothly a couple of days later we were told all the checks and everything they needed was all great so they didnt nees anything else from us. But to our devastation they phoned us 3 days ago saying we need a 2nd guarantor despite my partner earning over 30 grand. We said we dont have one so they demanded 4000 upfront followed by an additional 8700 6 months later. We are absolutley distraught and disgusted, we have both left our current jobs and were due to start new ones next week now we are left desperatley trying to find another place to live as we were due to move on the 18th .

I have had recent dealings with these people. Goodness, they really don't want to talk to you! No matter how many times you call them, it's always we'll call you back, and they never do! My mother passed away recently, and her house now has to be sold. There was an equity release scheme in place, and unfortunately they own 60% of the house. My daughter was buying the property, but it is all now on hold, as the independent surveyor quoted a valuation that was a special deal, and now has to go on the open market. If it was an independent valuation, how can Grainger influence the outcome? Please.......Never use this company!

Communicate with us, be responsive, be apologetic when things go wrong, treat us fairly in terms of reimbursement for days when the property was unliveable...

Grainger is possibly the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. They attempt to have little to no communication with you, unless you threaten to withhold rent.
They are the masters of fobbing you off and constantly seem to be "on leave" so unable to respond to your requests/questions.
I would highly recommend NOT using Grainger as a property manager if possible.
