Terrible service from FL. They have frequently changed my property manager without telling me or passing on any information with issues experienced. It took them 4 months to fix an issue with a tv, the issue reappeared and was reported to them over 7 months ago with no date as to when this will be rectified. To make matters worse, they tried charging me for someone to attend to re-tune the tv and I had to explain that they still weren't working.
I have had terrible customer service from them. I agreed when I moved in that I could Sub-let and they have questioned me 3 times accusing me of fraud because they haven't kept appropriate records and I subsequently had to provide the evidence as nothing had been handed over from property manager to property manager.
It is a lovely flat I have but it seriously makes me consider moving out as when I have even fairly minor issues, they aren't dealt with for months on end and unfortunately due to their knowledge rather than the Landlord not wanting to fix things. It's a real shame as it makes the smallest of issues escalate. I'm even considering moving or writing to the landlord to ask them to change letting agencies as I don't understand what they are paying FL for.

After having problems with our house(multiple leaks from the roof and bathroom) we complained to the agency and got promised that everything will get sorted almost immediately. After 6 months of complaining they came over and put one of OUR OWN bin bags to cover the bath tub so it would apparently fix the problem temporarily. After 3 weeks of silence, handing our moving notice and the removal of the bin bag by us in the second week, a guy popped on our door while most of us were at work. They apparently tried to contact me (1 out of 3 tennants) and left a voicemail. I called up the office and asked if anyone knows anything about it. They couldnt connect me to the person i had to speak to a few times and i had to call and so did one of my housemates. The agency said they needed to receive clearance for the repari works by the landlord and this took time (6 months?!?) but had to work on the problem straightaway so it doesnt get worse (?!?!?!). I can't use my shower for 24h and wasn't even informed about that but only got threatened that i would have to pay for it if it doesnt get fixed out of my deposit.
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! Stay as far as possible!

My fiancee and I have rented a one-bed flat in Richmond via Featherstone Leigh, which are property managing as well. During our first month, we've encountered the following issues: the washing machine did not work, the oven and hob were in a bad working condition, the faucet in the bathroom is loose, the sewage pipes below the sink are clogged and smelly, the TV aerial is defected and the micorowave was in a appalling condition.
Furthermore, when being showed the property I was told the entire flat was going to be repainted and the terrace was going to be replaced (rotten and dangerous to walk on currently).
In the meantime, the flat has not been painted and the terrace has not been replaced, as the agency says it's not mandatory. We had to wait for 1 entire month to get the washing machine replaced, which then of course required us to get our laundry done outdoors (we were not allowed do deduct the substantial cost from our rent). Furthermore, we have been ignored when it comes the faucet in the bathroom. The sewage pipes under the sink have not been fixed... The list is endless.
Finally, I feel Featherstone Leigh does NOT manage tenancies reasonably and morally. They will squeeze every penny they can out of you... Have never had a landlord that is so strict and so micro-managing in my life. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
