One of the longest established estate agencies in the Gidea Park area, Beresfords opened in 1987 and due to our success recently relocated to larger premises to cater for the increase in our salesforce.
With a team consisting of 10 staff also covering the Romford, Collier Row, Rise Park, Harold Wood and Harold
Hill areas.
The team works closely with the Hornchurch and Upminster branches, which enables them to share their database of applicants to ensure clients properties are marketed to the widest possible audience.

Lauren and Karen have always provided me with the necessary support and advice at every step of the journey, often when I did not know where else to turn. Thier professionalism, together with their caring and helpful nature are a true credit to Beresfords and confirmed to me that the are and always have been the right team to handle my flat letting and I could not recommend them higher.
I don't really know what else to say, other than a really big thank to Lauren and Karen and hope that this note goes some way towards recognising the excellent work they both do and I look forward to continuing working with them.

The issues for me arose when the offer had been accepted. It seemed at this point Beresfords were more on the side of the buyer than me as the seller which to me did not make sense as the sale of my property pays the commission. I found myself consistently ringing the branch to request they ring the buyer to find out what was going on in terms of returned paperwork etc. On more than one occasion I was told that the paperwork/ process sat my end which turned out to be incorrect. Understandably the process only works as well as each parties solicitors but I felt once the offer as accepted it was then on me to chase the buyer rather than the agent taking a pro-active approach.

Absolutely First Class service ..We had lots of problems and hold ups along a very long 6 month deal...None of which were any fault of Beresfords .However they were with us every step of the way...nothing was too much trouble..they checked in on us regularly..They were our guiding hand.. No stone was left unturned each time we encountered yet another stumbling block..mostly the other Agent..Solicitors involved in the deal!!
All our calls were returned promptly..What more could you ask!..A huge Thankyou to Paul ..Siobhan and their fabolous team..you got us through the most stressful times...we chose the best..thankyou!!

Paul arrived at valuation with knowledge of properties for sale on the same development and recent sale prices. We had a desire for quick sale to enable us to move quickly with our onward purchase. Guidance from Paul delivered a quick sale at the price I wanted.
Carly handled the purchased from receipt of offer from our buyer through to completion. Was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and available if we needed to get in touch. Impressed with how Carly was up-to-date on developments such as changing deposit requirements for first time buyers.
We unknowingly became involved in a chain of 10 with our onward purchase, Carly was pivotal in ensuring agents were communicating and getting the chain over the line to exchange contracts.
