What agent could do to change your mind?
Normally I'm not one to write negative reviews, simply because I just can't be bothered with it. However, sometimes I feel it is necessary to do so in order to warn other consumers and prevent them from possibly making the same mistakes and going through the same pains my wife and I went through. In this particular scenario, I want to talk about Accents Lettings Department in Fenstanton.
Time after time, my wife and I have been disappointed by the consistent lack of customer service from their part. The house we moved into a year ago has had nothing but problems, our power shower breaking and having to wait 3 weeks in order for it to get fixed is one of many examples. Nonetheless, my wife and I have been patient and never really complained. Finally, after a year of being good, honourable tenants we have moved out, only to find out that the problems and pains are still persistent. Accents checkout report is simply ridiculous, they are holding us accountable for things such as a missing smoke alarm even though when we moved into the property there weren't any and Accent came out and had their contractor install some for us (apparently they are magically missing now). They are also holding us accountable for broken light bulbs even though we spent about ‚£45 in new light bulbs because Accent wouldn't provide us with them when we moved in. Also, when we moved in, there was unpaid balance on the utilities by the previous tenants that we had to take care of. Despite of all this, we just dealt with it and moved on.
I also want to point out that Accent cleaning standards to move out are excessive, unreasonable and unfair. My wife contracted a professional cleaning service to take care of the house when we moved out only to find out that it is not clean enough according to their standards. When we first moved into the property there was cat hair all over the carpets and dog waste in the garden. It is my personal belief, as it should be everyone's, that you should leave a house the way it was given to you; however, in this case we took the time to leave the house in better conditions than it was when we received it a year ago.
Anyways, hopefully my voice will be heard by Accents top Management in order for this issue to be resolved and us get our deposit back in full. If we don't get it back, it will be regrettable to know that other tenants and good people just like my wife and I will be screwed over in the future.

What agent could do to change your mind?
-Improve the overall customer service
-Sack worthless employees who have no training
-Employ people who know the industry well and have experiance
-Reduce costs to new tenants
-Stop buying out other agencies with good service and concentrate on your own
-Train staff to deal with tenants better
-On-line help for tenants
-Conduct their own inventory with trained staff
-Re-structure their process to make it easier and clearer for new tenants
-Contact information for new tenants to report issues to
-Which agent is their main contact
-Change the colours of their company, it looks like sick.
