The initial visit was helpful and concise with a straightforward fee proposal. The marketing was achieved fairly quickly and the agent mainly accompanied the viewings which was helpful.
All of the Westbrookes staff were helpful and friendly and appeared to be up to speed with the details of my sale at any time. Good contact was maintained throughout the process.

Overall the process was ok, Andrew Hare was friendly and informative when valuing the property.
Lucia was great, friendly and worked really hard in getting the best possible price for the sale and Sophie was great when purchasing my new property, very friendly on the phone and always happy to help and make enquiries.
A few things that I lowered my overall score.
1. Was advised it would be best to go with Dezrez Legal solicitors as it is a sister company of Westbrooks and would make things quicker and easier. I had many issues with Dezrez legal and I also did not feel like they communicated with westbrooks as much as I would have hoped. Also was told they were representing the seller of our purchase property (which was not the case) I would not use Dezrez again.
2. Lucia who was leading my sell 'left' the company and I was not happy with how this was handled, I was not informed clearly. My case was taken over by a new fella who I feel was out of his depth and made many errors, making the last few weeks extremely stressful. (Impressions were not good at the end of the process)
3. I ended up doing a lot of ringing up and chasing of the solisitors myself which I expected westbrooks to do more of. I would have liked to have been kept more informed of the process and at what stage everything was at.

I had my property on sale with another estage agent for a lengthy period of time, however they were unable to sell it for me. I decided to go with Westbrookes as I had heard good things about them and I wasn't disappointed. A girl named Lucia was very helpful and provided me with regular updates on the viewings and she also managed to sell my house. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend anyone to deal with Westbrookes and Lucia in the future.

We chose Westbrookes because they were new to South Notts and were leaflet advertising for sales. We reasoned that a company new to the area would go the extra mile for us to help secure their place in the locale. We were not wrong.
Andrew Hare, the manager, was very prompt, efficient and courteous in his dealings with us. Yes, he can talk for England, but that's his job and if he talks the talk with buyers as well as he does with sellers that can't be bad.
The process of marketing our house was very prompt and slick; Excellent briefing package on what we had to do to help sell our house. Great pictures and web details and even a video tour fronted by a TV presenter. We had lots of viewings within hours of going on the market and two serious offers.
The office staff were great: Alex in particular was very personable. He was efficient, smart and courteous. Sophie too was very smart and efficient.
We agreed a sale at the asking price very quickly, but then things started to slow up, through no fault of Westbrookes, the chain had its hiccoughs which dragged on for a while. If there is a negative note it is in this period of waiting for lawyers, mortgages, searches, surveys etc that we would have appreciated more contact, Andrew did respond promptly to our contacts but, perhaps a weekly update on progress would be beneficial and put people's minds at rest. After all it's not every day that we sell and buy a house, though it is a daily occurrence for agents.
Overall we are very pleased with Westbrookes and would recommend them.

Overall the process was ok, Andrew Hare was friendly and informative when valuing the property.
Lucia was great, friendly and worked really hard in getting the best possible price for the sale and Sophie was great when purchasing my new property, very friendly on the phone and always happy to help and make enquiries.

I rung a lady this week named Lucia. She was so rude and sounded like she didn't know what she was doing at all. She sounded patronising and kept telling me to hold on without any manners. She was so awful to deal with and I advise anyone wanting to use Westbrooks to avoid at all costs. It's really upset me how rude she actually was towards a clueless customer. I would never use this company again and feel sorry for any of their customers. Dear god I hope all the staff aren't like this rude woman. She sounded like she just couldn't be bothered to speak to me or deal with my query. Most disappointed as a mutual friend advised this was a good company to use when buying a property as they were helpful and polite. How wrong was I!!!!! Disgusted is an understatement!!!!!!

We were recently looking to buy a house, as first time buyers we were shocked at the rate that houses were being sold. We signed up with several different estate agencies and were shocked at the poor service we received from the staff. However, we then met Sophie at Westbrookes. She was a refreshing and welcome change! She took the time to listen to the type of house we were after, the area and our general requirements. She went away and suggested a few different options for us which we went to see with her. A great benefit of dealing with Sophie was that she met us after 5pm to see the houses (working full time made it practically impossible to keep viewing houses during the working day which is what most estate agencies insist upon). Sophie carefully listened to our feedback on each property and kept in touch with us on a regular basis until we found our ideal home and had our offer accepted. Throughout all our dealings with Sophie she was polite and conscientious I would recommend her to anyone looking for their dream home! Thanks Sophie!

I received and accepted an offer of the asking price on the following Monday. So a sale was achieved even before a brochure was produced and before the property appeared on the internet. Amazing - and entirely due to the efforts of the office staff. Sophie Holder, in particular, did most of the viewings on my behalf and dealt with the purchasers in such a way that an initial lower offer was quickly converted to the full asking price. In all her dealings with me Sophie has been professional, well informed and efficient. Can't fault her and am delighted with the service I have received.

This girl was lovely to deal with from start to finish. She was full of energy and obviously new what she was doing which helped get us several bids at the asking price and some above. I felt she came across really genuine and was willing to help out where ever she could. The wife also said what a great job she did on the day we had several viewings. Give this girl an award she deserves it

This property was owned by three sisters making it a big job for me to take on representing my other sisters. However in this stressful situation Ashley calmed me and made me confident that all was well. He also put up with my verbal frustration with my solicitor and took complete ownership of my situation.
