Frequent aggressive calls questioning why we weren't ready to exchange, when it was their vendor that was delaying progress by withholding information. When we had been ready to exchange for a week with contracts signed and with the solicitor and the money transferred into the solicitors account, their vendor pulled out as we were questioning unpaid payments to the freeholder. When some unnamed employee from the Canterbury branch rang to inform us that the sale was not going through, he 'thanked' me for wasting their companies time and hung up on me. I rang back to contact the manager, he didn't 'manage' the situation, didn't apologise for his employee being rude and didn't return my call as promised. These people are the reason estate agents have such a bad reputation. Do not deal with them!
Been professional. Explained to the vendor the normal process of selling a property. Look into the facts of a sale before ringing a client.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
