Absolutely awful. They lie, they change contract terms without telling you and don't do what is required of them.
They're fine when things are going well and all they have to do is collect the money but are worse than useless when things don't go well, which is exactly when a managing agent is needed.

I organised a viewing for a flat the afternoon before (less than 24 hours). Arrived at the flat the next day to be told by the tenant that an offer had been accepted and all viewings were cancelled. I never heard from the agency to cancel the visit beforehand or to explain what had happened afterwards. What a terrible waste of time!

I lived in a relatively new 'new build property' that BestLet managed.
We moved into the property with a broken shower hose. Their lack of willingness to repair the problem meant we had to purchase a new shower hose ourselves, install it, and then expense the purchase price! Cheeky considering the landlord is responsible for these things.
The kitchen flooring in the doorway was starting to coming away, and their first fix was to tape it, which lost its tackiness and failed relatively quickly, becoming a trip hazard again! I'm sure this could be a liability if the tenant hurt themselves. To be fair, they did a better job of fixing it second time around.
The hot water tank leaked in every way possible, and so did the bathroom. There is probably significant long term damage to the floorboard and stud work due to repeated leaks and BestLets very slow response in fixing the issues.
I'm not sure the landlord would be too happy if they found out about the quality of BestLets fixes. It could well cost them more in the long term.

I lived in a relatively new 'new build property' that BestLet managed.
We moved into the property with a broken shower hose. Their lack of willingness to repair the problem meant we had to purchase a new shower hose ourselves, install it, and then expense the purchase price! Cheeky considering the landlord is responsible for these things.

When I had enough of my complaints falling on deaf ears I went to the company's office. Managing director * lied again, that he will refund us for the problems we have had (double council we weren't aware of, saleswoman ** telling us house will be cleaned even tho it wasn't, appliances breaking). After he never did refund me, I was calling the office every day.**** We terminated our contract early due to them breaching the contract. So relieved to get rid of them.

Beware of renting through this agent!
They * your deposit by claiming it for 'professional cleaning', regardless of the state the property is left in.
**should be avoided.
You could find more reviews on his google business profile - but they've taken those profiles down because there was so many bad reviews.
