I would like to thank the team at Douglas Allen Chadwell Heath for helping me in selling my property. When Lucy visited my home to give me a valuation, she was professional and friendly and instantly made me feel at ease with the process. When I visited the branch Michelle offered me a warm welcome and was very informative. Sam and Bilal conducted the open house and were very professional. They made a very busy day a positive experience. Thank you to Charlotte for her excellent communication and for keeping me informed every step of the way. Tanya has been very supportive, professional, knowledgable and has always kept me aware of what was happening and answered every question I had. The whole team have been professional and informative, and I would highly recommend this branch to anyone selling a property.

WARNING
Be very careful using the services of this estate agent because they will rush you into signing their contracts and you will realise later that these are dishonest agents, not just this branch but the whole of their organisation.
I approached them to sell my 3 bed house and I signed up a multi agency contract with them, my mistake was that I did not read the lengthy contact properly thinking that big reputable agency can not be scamming people. After six months of them trying to sell my property at their valuations, they could not find a buyer, so I decided to withdraw my property, it`s then I received an email stating that according to their terms and condition, I am not allowed to sell my property for the next two years, if I do I will be liable to their commission and they also send me a list of 120 names that they said who attended my property for viewing. So if another agent was to sell my property to anyone of 120 viewers, I will have to pay Douglas Allen commission as well as the other agent who sells my property within the next 2 year period.
I even complaint to their HQ and their response was that they do not care about customers, they are only interested in your money.
So guys DO NOT USE Douglas Allen for anything, selling, buying or letting.

We were currently renting with the council and paying full rent but we werent getting the service we needed so we decided to go anf private rent and we serched on the internet for properties in pontefract that accepted pets we found alot that didnt unfortunately. We then went into to our local letting agents reeds rains and we registered with them and told them we had a pet they viewed properties for us and they found a gorous new bulit property that accepted pets we were shocked and asked if we could make an appointment to view the property they provided all the details for us. We viewed the property and accepted gave them all the details they needed from us and they dud all the rest we didnt have to worry about anything we recieved excellwnt customer service and if we had any problems or queries they were always there to help. They made sure we had every things we needed I would definitely recommend pontefract reeds rains to anyone who is looking for the perfect home they really are a good team and will give 100% into helping you find it. We are so happy now and greatful to them .

Manager of Douglas Allen in Chadwell Heath, Mr. James Filtness has been great from day one!! he did say he wouldnt let us down and has done exactly as he said.
I would recommend them to anyone, very efficient. Communication almost everyday on the process...motivated and willing to go that extra mile for his customers, surprised and very happy.
Look forward to signing exchange paperwork and moving out.
Many thanks to James who has been great and all his staff too.

We met James Filtness the Branch Manager at the beginning of our sale who visited us at our home to discuss our requirements. James assured us from the outset that he would have no problem in selling our property and set about the task straight away getting the house onto the market with due speed. We were mostly impressed with the speed in which he got us onto the market and the way in which Douglas Allen very speedily did what they said on the can sold our property at a price that we would like.

All of the personnel in the Chadwell Heath branch were extremely helpful. James always came across to us as being helpful and had a very cheerful disposition. Very firm and very fair. Indeed all of his team provided us with help throughout the course of the sale, despite the fact that they were always busy, they always endeavoured to provide us with the help that we needed when we may have felt lost or becalmed during the stressful areas of the sale.
We also feel that specific praise must go to the Branch Secretary Sally Degen who always happily provided continuity to us when we really needed it and acted as an anchor when we needed to clear our heads during the difficult periods throughout the sale.
Just to say thank you to all of the Chadwell Heath team but special thanks to Sally and James in Particular.
