I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Foxtons Agency. We have been experiencing a severe issue with our boiler for an entire week, and the response from Foxtons has been nothing short of appalling.
In the heart of winter, with temperatures dropping to -2 degrees in London, living without a functioning boiler is not only inconvenient but downright unbearable. Despite multiple attempts to bring this matter to Foxtons' attention, we are still waiting for a resolution, with the vague promise of someone coming in "hopefully" within the next two days.
The lack of urgency and empathy in addressing this matter is shocking. As a result, my home has become an icebox, and basic necessities such as taking a shower have become luxuries. It is disheartening to see a lack of concern for the well-being and comfort of tenants, especially during these harsh weather conditions.
I have attempted to communicate our concerns to Foxtons, but the responses have been minimal and far from satisfactory. It is unacceptable for a property management agency to leave tenants in such dire conditions without a clear and prompt resolution.
I expected more from Foxtons Agency, and this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others considering their services. The level of service we have received is far from what is acceptable, and I urge Foxtons to prioritize the well-being of their tenants and address maintenance issues with the urgency they deserve.

I was hugely impressed with Foxtons on the recent sale of my flat where they replaced another agent who was struggling. From the very beginning Gabor/ Dominika were confident re the price they could achieve, selected a small but well qualified group of buyers, and then were utterly tenacious with all parties (buyer, both solicitors, even me!) to ensure the sale completed ahead of the UK budget which was a key deadline for me. I know they come at a premium, but the increase in purchase price achieved means it's a complete no brainer - I won't waste time with other agents in future.

AVOID Foxtons London Bridge at all costs! Please read all their reviews over the last few years before Renting or Selling with them!
We rented an accommodation though Foxtons on a temp basis 2 months at £4500 pcm. The property viewing was carried out by Tom. The property was incredibly dirty and we requested for this to be cleaned. This was not actioned (please see pictures). Moving with 2 toung children with Medical issues, we had to pay £395 for professional cleaning of the property. This is after 3 companies refusing to even touch the house for the condition. The house had construction work completed and all the dirty and debri from this was everywhere. The property had leaking taps, no curtains or blinds in 1 bedroom (Still waiting for curtains), lights not working in the kitchen, sockets off the walls, bulbs needed replacing in the living room! And trying to get help from Foxtons was harder than fitting a camel through the eye of a needle. We have over 5 people involved since we raised the issue: Tom, Elliot, Sophie, Rajit and Lisa. Who all concluded that the property was cleaned and as such they would not refund the cost of cleaning. We have had to take legal actions against Foxtons for the misrepresentation of the property we rented. 1 week into the rental and we will waiting for all the issues to be rectified. And then to be told if we terminate the contract we would lose our funds and deposits. We have had no choice but to take legal actions against Foxtons London Bridge as aell as report them to the Property Ombundsman. I would not recommend them to anyone for any of their services from the experience we have gone through! I wish I had read the numerous reviews from past clients all with the same issues!!

Thomas Norton from Foxtons London Bridge is literally the best agent I have ever met. He is the only one who took the time to get to know us and understand our lifestyle, and he then made recommandations based on that. He also organised the viewings on the same night and offered to drive us, which made it convenient for us. We completely fell in love with one of the property that met all of our criteria and even more! Finally, Tom also facilitated the admin and moving in process and made sure it was as smooth as possible. Tom was always available and quick to answer our questions. Overall, Tom had an extremely professional, but also friendly and genuine behaviour and it was very refreshing to have such a great experience in this tense London market. I would 100% contact Tom in the future for another property search. To summarise, Tom went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be happier about his service. I hope that he gets rewarded for his amazing work!

I have had the worst letting experience of my life, in such inhabitable appalling conditions with Foxtons. I am not sure if it is just this branch in particular that are unprofessional, unethical and clearly just not bothered or the company culture in general!
The only time I have received communication from this branch was 1. The sales team when they were trying to let this property, and 2. again the sales team, to book in viewings as the landlord wanted to sell the property even though I still had another year remaining in the letting contract!
Be prepared to be on hold for hours! (I am not joking!) and to be ignored by phone and email for serious maintenance issues. They will blame the landlord and contractors, to pass the responsibility.
The maintenance team are appalling.
I have had maintenance issues outstanding since the 8th of February 2021! That I can still not get a clear answer on whether they can fix them or what the plan is to resolve them.
My Maintenance issues: 1. Blown Sockets 2. Window handle is rotten and broken 3. Mould 4. Blocked Sink 5.Toilet that does not flush properly 6. Toilet loose from the floor 7. Kitchen tap replaced shoddily breaking the kitchen counter that began to rot 8. Washing machine not working 9. Oven not working
In the last month of my tenancy, Foxtons sent over Contractors who were to do remedial works in the bathroom and kitchen, which were actually heavy works and I was left without water completely, a non functioning bathroom and kitchen without consultation.
I also received electric shocks from the switches, now that I have left I have been sent EICR which had the grading unsatisfactory for overall assessment in terms of its suitability for continued use, grading C1 & C2.
I am so happy that my tenancy is over. I will NEVER again rent through Foxtons.
I have now let through STIRLING ACKROYD, and I can see why they won the Regional: London Agency of the Year 2022 (Gold)

I wish I could give 0 stars. AVOID Foxtons at all costs, my landlord and I have received the worst service from Foxtons.
- They have not paid my landlord accordingly, and have ignored all of our communication. It's been over 3 months and they have yet to pay my landlord rent that I paid in May - I receive arrears emails every week because their accounts team have not updated our account in 4 months and payment is never late, their system is backwards - We had to email everyone in the office in order to get a response - still nothing. We have gone to the office 5 times and have email threads over 100 emails due to their sheer lack of professionalism and communication - They pass you on to various team members with no confirmation who is managing our account - As other reviews have said, keep everything in writing as they lie continuously
It's been an ongoing nightmare with no resolution from Foxtons - AVOID.

Choose another estate agent.
I'd advised anyone wanting to rent with Foxtons especially at London Bridge to choose someone else because they will mislead you, hurry into buying a property that has several issues and then gaslight you to think that they weren't any. They are really bad at responding to issues and will lie to reassure you. All of them seem to be pretty bad at their jobs and I don't understand how they're still standing.
They will several procedures and protocols which have been costly, in our experience our flat has really bad mould which has made really sick because I have underlying health conditions. The property manager Brendan Hind should not be working there as he is the one who cut corners just sell us a flat that had several issues that needed to be fixed before moving in. He needs to be dismissed.
I will not be choosing Foxtons again for any future renting, for anyone wanting to go with them stay away and choose someone else!
