errible experience dealing with Carter jones when moving into a property. Them not having it cleaned properly, having cleaners to be returned several times to do the job again. Them asking to push back the move in date even though it had been set several months. Now after moving in and living at the property for a week, there are untold issues and environmental health problems in regards to pigeon infestation and mounds of faeces in areas of around the windows and balcony. They are passing blame to everyone else besides wanting to take ownership and help. Awful condescending staff who will do their upmost to get rid of you and turn a blind eye to things

We have been letting property in Newbury, Reading and Henley for 20 years and have had a variety of experieince with letting agents. In our opinion CJ is well ahead of the competition. Fiona was hugely informative when we wanted to move our Newbury let to CJ and very patient as we worked through pre-let repairs over 3 months. Catherine finds new tenants quickly imparting a sense of motivation and enthusiasm. We had numerous viewings arranged for the first day of our latest vacancy from which we secured a new tenant. Jessica manages our property with deft expertise, speedy replies, concise and precise advice and guidance and is always available for voicecalls. Monika is always on the ball when she has stepped in to cover Jessica's absence. The accounts team provide regular, accurate and up to date statements. The agency's service standards are noticeably high and consistent throughout the team.

Professional and willing to go the extra mile, always! Looking to buy a property, of not an insignificant amount of money, and Carter Jonas Newbury have been the least helpful of all agents we've spoken to during lockdown easing.
Unlike other agents, they won't let you view any property until you've sold yours, they're also not doing video tours, unlike all the other agents.
Replies are short and unhelpful. Lost for words.
How you would sell your house if all estate agents adopted this policy? I don't know. (luckily they havent).
So they're effectively only letting cash or first time buyers consider looking at anything through them.
