THEY DELIBERATELY LEFT THE LIGHTS THE ON IN THE PROPERTY DUE TO THEM KNOWING I WAS A BROAD WORKING. THEY ALSO LEFT MY KITCHEN BACK DOOR OPENED AND THE GATE WIDE OPEN FOR EASY ACCESS FOR SQUATTERS TO MOVE IN. THE OWNER SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN A BUSINESS AND GET AWAY WITH ALL THE THINGS HE DOES. I HAVE EMAILS TO PROVE AND BACK UP MY STORY. PEOPLE BE AWARE OF THIS AWFUL ESTATE AGENCY. THEY ARE BASED IN NOTTINGHAM AND SOUTHWELL REMEMBER THE NAME: JILLINGS ESTATE. Stay well clear of these agents who make their own rules up as they go along, I was offered a property but failed to mention 6 months upfront which I have no reason to put 6 months upfront down as I work full time, even though I could afford to put 6 months down, the service I received was just so shocked, I had to ring everyday for 4 weeks so could you imagine what kind of service I would of got if something needed fixing while I had already paid 6 months upfront just so they can earn abit on interest.6 month rent upfront to me is so dodgy, * * I'll be telling everyone to stay well away

The service I have received from Jillings has, so far, been excellent. The property is of a high standard and, for the money I pay, excellent value.
Naturally, there are occasionally problems, but these have been dealt with swiftly and professionally.
My previous agency, Bradgate Property Services, are an absolute joke compared with Jillings - who are helpful, friendly and polite.

The hot water valve also broke meaning all hot water in the tank was heated to about 80degrees which is not only a scalding risk but cost us a bomb! I feel for the new remnants that have moved in completely unaware of this.

When we were coming to vacate the property, we had to pay a full months rent despite vacating on the 11th. We requested that if the new remnants could move in early, we would return the keys and recieve a tent rebate. This was ignored. We handed the keys back on the 25th despite paying until the 30th with the property in pristine condition. We returned to the property the next day as we had suspicions about new tennants moving in. The property was found to be occupied. We knocked on the door and spoke to the tennants who as it turns out we're also paying rent for that period. When Jillings estates we're questioned about this, we were blatantly lied to and told it was empty. This was reconsidered when we told them we had been to the property. It was agreed that we were to have rent rebate for when they were receiving monies from both sets of tennants. Some of this money was returned along with our deposit. However the ammount fell short of what was due. After many ignored emails, unreturned phone calls, and feeble excuses and dodging, we received the amount that was due. Please never rent of this company, it's not worth the hassle!
