*.....the most disgusting people I have ever met......completely unprofessional and with a behaviour of 2 years old......I have never seen a director and a manager behaving like this in my life. We wanted to ask a flat in Barnstaple for my pregnant daughter who is dew in November. On the 02.09.2021 I have called the agency manager to speak about the flat. We asked if we can rent on our company name , which is a big and old business in the Muddiford (a sawmill, probably most of you you know us). She said yes but we have to pay some fees first and she will take the flat off market. Said yes, paid the same day and then she asked for the documents. We provided what she asked, less the personal details of the director of our company as we didn't understand the importance as long as we are renting on company name , not his personal name. So the only thing they asked about the company were... the name, address, reg number and a bank statement. All sent. They have never asked for anything else from the company. We have seen the flat after one week from payment...on the 09.09.2021...flat that was full of boxes from the previous tenant. So we couldn't see too much and we asked for another viewing when the flat is ready. Just lies that they will come back and nothing. We were keep calling to ask them if they need anything else and again they were saying they have everything they need , we just have to wait... Anyway , after 3 weeks( when we stopped looking for another house)....they told us that we can't go on with the application as they looked on I don't know what site and they have seen that our assets in 2018 were £850....So a sawmill that needs at least a space, a machine and wood to operate, has assets of £850.....ridiculous!!!!! We called them and asked to clarify about this , asked to go in there with all our documents. They refused ....I still went. And in there shock!!!!! beside the fact they didn't even wanted to listen to me, being very violent in their approach, they totally refused to look at my documents , pushed me out the office and the director was singing loud in my ear when I was trying to speak with the manager..... They have refunded us the money in full the same day( money that were non-refundable on the invoice that they have sent to us)....wonder why???? So now, we have no flat, we didn't look for another one , there is nothing available on the market and my daughter had a panic attach and now she is very stressed about her having the baby next month and not being able to move by then....all of these affecting her situation Thank you for nothing!!!! only lies and unprofessional management ....

    Dear Roxana, Thank you for your feedback. You have painted a completely false picture of what occurred. The company that you represent was trying to secure accommodation for your daughter through (which I'm sure HMRC would be interested to know if this is an legitimate company activity/expense) failed the referencing process. During the referencing process, you tried via bullying and intimidation of my staff , to secure the tenancy without concluding the main referencing process. Your company were evasive when it came to any verification of income and failed to even provide basic account information which any reputable and viable company should be able to do. Your partner also made disrespectful comments about the previous tenant which were unnecessary and spiteful. When I was advised about the lack of co-operation, bullying tactics, rude and aggressive behaviour from your company in telephone conversations and via e-mail, I took the decision that we didn't want your company as tenants. This is a decision I took and where this is the case we as a company, we always refund any fees that have been paid. You then decided to come to our offices and behave like a spoilt child that didn't get there way. Despite us advising you on many occasions that the decision has been made and is final. You started shouting and demanding we look at the files you had brought in. This we reiterated was pointless as the decision had been made however you becoming increasingly uncooperative and tried to intimidate Margaret standing menacingly over her desk which was also scaring our dog. I do not tolerate bullying and aggression towards my staff and asked you to leave several times which you refused. As you were scaring staff and the dog I started to singing to drown out the noise coming from your mouth. You weren't prepared to listen to what we said so why should we give you the courtesy of an audience. You eventually left (you weren't pushed as you claim) but only when we had to threaten to call the police, slamming the door hard and causing the glass to quiver on our large windows. As stated, we as company will not tolerate bullying and intimidating behaviour towards our staff and will certainly not be entertaining any application for accommodation from you, your company or anyone who is associated with it. Agents be aware!

    ??how convenient for you to picture all these lies....just wonder...do you have any proof for all your accusations????? I have asked you to provide me with proofs(emails, messages whatever)that you asked us about the documents you Insinuate we didn't provide. We called you 2 weeks in a row and the only thing we heard was we will call you back and nothing. Nobody ever called, messaged or e-mail. You go out the street and ask anyone you want about out company and I assure you that a lot of people know us and know our business. Was lack of communication and collaboration from your part. If you only have a Google map check of our post code on satellite search you can see everything we have. If you can tell me that a 7 years sawmill has assets of £800 when I have parked a car of £150.000 Infront of your office, then please proof me that I am wrong. Until then, you will have to give answers for the way you and your wife treated me, I can also say that was discrimination as I am foregn and you abused me and accused me if things I have never said or done. I just came with the company documents to show you that we have assets of £800.000 not £800 like you said, from a check you done from 2018. Totally irrelevant. Unprofessional!!!!!!!

    Complaints Procedure

    1. Making a complaint Each office is independently owned or operated and has a local director who will be in part in whole, an owner of this branch. In the first instance your complaint should be directed in writing to the local Branch Manager. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 3 working days. The branch will conduct a full thorough investigation and a full written will be sent within 15 working days. 2. If you remain dissatisfied If you feel the matter remains unresolved you should write to the Director at the relevant Northwood office explaining why you are unhappy with the response. The Director will conduct a comprehensive review of your complaint and will give you a final viewpoint in writing within 10 working days. 3. Independent redress In the unlikely event that you are still dissatisfied then you may refer the matter to the Property Ombudsman at the The Property Ombudsman at following address: Milford House 43-55 Milford Street Salisbury SP1 2BP 4. What next? You will receive written confirmation from the Property Ombudsman that your complaint form has been received. They will write to the branch, enclosing a copy of your complaint form, and request their file and a statement describing their version of events. The matter will be referred to a case officer who will review the complaint together with the response from the branch and make a recommendation to the Ombudsman who will make a final decision which is binding upon the branch in question.
