Me and my partner have been left to live from our bedroom with our dog, as the whole bottom of my house has been pulled apart, no notice to my self or anyone else, and when called they said would call back, they chose to ignore this and just leave us in the dark, my sofa has been ruined and the house is a mess, and they claim they new nothing about it either, don't use this company at all

Unprofessional, Rude and arrogant. This company doesn't know how to look after the properties in there care. The staff are lazy and clueless and I'm still being polite using these words.

Disgusting lived in the house less than 1 year had so many issues now have mold in my bedroom where my 5 year old son sleeps and my partner has severe asthma. All they say is report it on fix flo, no help no compassion and get comments like... "well you don't lock your son in there do you" and "your not the only person in the world with these issues" unprofessional and nasty comments

Rented a property Feb2nd 2022 through Let Direct NE.
List of problems :-
Open sewage pipe where we were assured a toilet was to be placed before we took over tenancy. Took over a month to sort .
Cracks all across ceilings and walls.
Plug socket hanging off wall.
Light fittings not secured correctly and so low the door hit the lightbulb.
Electricity to garage cut, no power.
Gloss paint splashed over flooring and rubbed off carpets leaving marks.
TV Ariel and phone line cut.
Broken radiator. Radiators with no way to control.
Built in oven not fitted to unit.
Garden like a rubbish tip.
Damp in the kitchen.
Rickety broken toilet seat.
No gas certification (which was eventually carried out by our neighbour who still hasn’t been paid).
Porch window needed replacing.
The shoddiest paintwork and finishes imaginable.
5 months on and still awaiting broken radiator to be replaced.
Thank you Veteran Services, Let Direct NE and WH Turton Investments Ltd who have given me some of the most stressful and expensive days of 2022.

I wouldn’t rent a property through let direct ever again, we went without heating in our house for over 2 months and a leak through the sitting room roof took at least 2 weeks to fix. They would be alright if there were no problems with the property. Terrible service to fix the problems and seemed like I was pushed under the carpet.

Been renting for over a decade now and Let Direct NE are by far the worst letting agency I've ever come across. They're only great if nothing goes wrong and will keep in touch when rent is due. God forbid you have a repair that needs to be done, or one of their half-competent repairmen messes something up, then it's radio silence, or you're left footing the bill to fix it yourself. At one point I had to threaten them with the ombudsman to have the boiler fixed. Minor repairs have gone undressed for 5+ years so I just stopped asking. Do not waste your time/sanity and rent with literally anyone else.

Rented from let direct for nearly 7 years.
Although they are very friendly to speak to and they say all of the right things, when it comes to the nitty gritty part of property management , nothing seems to happen, in fact the property management side of things is none existent! Regardless of how many photographs you take or how many faults you'll raise to them, they just say 'we'll speak to the handy man and he'll be in touch' .....it never happens.
On the plus side... they only bother you once a year when house and gas inspection is due.
To summarise , if you would rather fix/Repair things yourself, out of your own pocket, have zero communication with the letting agents then let direct is for you...
If you expect a professional service and prompt response to any service or repairs that may need carried out then go elsewhere.
