Avoid Accord if you can!!! Renting with this agent was my worst rental experience ever and customer service throughout the rental process as well as during the move out is very poor/non-existent. It was a promising start with a good service provided up until the point we've signed tenancy agreement. After that point, customer service becomes absolutely horrible and it has taken them months to come back to us on maintenance queries multiple times. It is close to impossible to reach the property management team over the phone and the electronic maintenance request system does not work in practice as you will not get a response until you chase them multiple times over the phone. It has now been over a month since we moved out of the property and it took us a considerable effort to even get a response from the agency regarding the release of our deposit. We still haven't got the deposit repaid without any proper explanation from the agent. Accord's service throughout the check-out process was again very poor as the team responsible for sorting out deposit repayment never responds despite multiple chasing emails. Also, as if the above was not enough, the staff were rude with us on multiple occasions, when we were chasing maintenance requests or trying to clarify what the check-out process is. I have rented from other agents in the city centre before and my experience was very positive unlike with Accord.

Accord Lettings Agents have been absolutely unprofessional and their staff has been rude and definitely lack problem solving skills. I have been showering in boiling/cold water for nearly two years... Nothing gets resolved even with daily emails! Cruelty at this point!
The first agent that was chasing the issue no longer works with them so for a good while I was chasing a ghost and no one else picked up the issue either!
After nearly 18 months on this they sent a contractor... after 3 months they want another contractor to go over it again for another quote!!!!!! Merry Christmas to me with my cold showers!!!

Renting with this agent was my worst rental experience ever and customer service throughout the rental process as well as during the move out is very poor/non-existent.
It was a promising start with a good service provided up until the point we've signed tenancy agreement. After that point, customer service becomes absolutely horrible and it has taken them months to come back to us on maintenance queries multiple times. *WARNING* Avoid this agency at all cost!!! They have caused so much stress to myself and my partners health. We had nothing but problems over problems with this agency, never had such terrible support and behavior from an agency like this one!!! They are constantly trying to charge the landlord and the tenants for nothing to gain money especially now that they can't over charge tenants with fees anymore. When they found out we were ending the contract, they showed up with people to view the flat without any notice or our permission which really stressed me out as it was invading our personal space where we thought was a save place. They put zero consideration to the tenants feelings, they acted super nice before you sign the contract but after that, you are on your own, you can try and contact them for help with the house but it takes them forever to sort out any problems which is their responsibility and we had to live with that for a year. At the end of the tenancy, we fully cleaned the flat, it was even cleaner than before we moved in as the oven was a mess and nothing was wiped down, this is all proven in the check in inventory and they had to cheek to send a bill with no details but 'cleaning fees' of over £250 , upon that they also tried to charge us for other things! honestly, those are just a few things that they have done to us and the list can go on and on forever!!! so please avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After wasting most of the afternoon viewing these properties and being interested in one, the agent then told us we would now need three month's rent upfront and three month's rent deposit. We were then told we had to pay the following fees on top of this, as well as continue to pay the rent quarterly upfront.
Admin fee £100
Referencing £150
Tenancy agreement £150
Inventory £125 (fees £525 in total)
The grand total of what they wanted was £5625 and quarterly rent thereafter. Never in all my years of renting have I been asked for such a ridiculous sum of money upfront.
Furthermore, if we are paying this amount upfront, why are they charging for referencing? Referencing would be to check we are of sound financial background, by asking for almost £6,000 in total pretty much upfront surely this is enough to say we are of sound financial background?
And lastly, my boyfriend wasn't even given the option of a guarantor which is standard practice in Estate Agency if you aren't sure of your prospective tenants financial stability. Which proves all this company cares about is taking as much money from you as possible.
They were rude, condescending and the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I mentioned this all to my manager, who has also had the "pleasure" of actually renting from this company. She said they were the worst she'd ever dealt with too. I didn't even say the Estate Agents name and before I'd even finished telling her all this she said "it's not Accord is it?" Which speaks volumes about the integrity of this company.
I would have given them a score of zero if it had been an option.

The most unprofessional and incompetent agents I have ever experienced. From arguing against tenants and careless attitudes to leaving tenants in poor living conditions despite knowing the condition of the property before you move in. They do not check the property beforehand and they do not live by their contracts. DO NOT use Accord, they are rude and lack knowledge and professionalism. Infact I was told they only work with landlords and do not care about their tenants. Fran is useless and unhelpful and Laura and Fran do not communicate let alone understand their jobs or what they are doing. Save your money and go elsewhere. These guys get paid to take your money and they're shockingly there to make your life hell.

Unclear emails and when I spoke to her, she would sometimes scream at me on the phone and say DID YOU NOT READ MY EMAIL!!! Very poor service from Elisa and was even more disappointed when I still had no confirmation of the moving date and time (when to collect the keys) after she confirmed I could move in at a certain time and date.

Unclear emails and when I spoke to her, she would sometimes scream at me on the phone and say DID YOU NOT READ MY EMAIL!!! Very poor service from Elisa and was even more disappointed when I still had no confirmation of the moving date and time (when to collect the keys) after she confirmed I could move in at a certain time and date.
Stay away from them and if not stay away from Elisa CHUI. She made the whole move so difficult and complicated. At times felt bullied and disrespected. She was also very rude and won't listen to what I said…. Soo much for treating customers fairly. Extremely disappointed all they are after is the money and don't care if you are a happy customer. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THESE AGENTS!!

However, as I am an International student, and I am not familiar with some staff. I surprised that, I found the the contract mentioned the payment quarterly, and no body informed about that before viewing the property :(
In general. I like the staff they were friendly and helpful, I'm just surprised about payment quarterly.
