Lee Jones led the team at Fine and Country to market and sell our property near St Neots. Lee has proved to be consistently professional and enthusiastic about getting us the right buyer throughout the process. Having used other supposedly elite agents in the past we found that the whole experience with Lee and his colleagues at Fine and Country surpassed what those others offered. He has been straightforward to deal with. I don't normally write reviews, and I don't normally like estate agents to be honest, but Lee deserves every credit. I would also like to mention Richard and Sue who have been understanding and offered good advice when needed.

Without Richard & Sue's perseverance and professionalism our house sale would have fallen through. They were very proactive and went far beyond what would normally be expected or necessary. Their communication was excellent and timely throughout a very long process.
Their calmness was reassuring for us but didn't stop them keeping on top of things and making sure other parties were doing what was necessary, despite various challenges that arose sometimes on a daily basis.

From the first phone call, this team oozed professionalism.
Having made the decision to sell our home, which we built and loved, we went on a hunt to find the right agent for the project.
When we met Lee Jones there was never really any doubt who we would choose. Lee went through the process thoroughly and filled us with confidence and every step from then on proved we'd made the right choice.

Indicated that I would prefer a local agent so wouldn't pursue and the person I spoke to just said thank you, goodbye. Fair enough, but later found St Neots office covered Cambs and Herts. Would have expected some attempt to garner my business and explain that they were used to selling in the whole region. Clearly not interested at initial contact so what would later service be like? Took a while to answer the phone and clearly unenthusiastic..

For personal reasons, I have had to buy and sell in the Hemingfords three times in the last ten years. On the first move, a "downsize", Sue Gipson of Fine and Country not only found an ideal property for us, but sold the first one for more than we anticipated within 24 hours. Widowed, I needed to move again some years later, Sue again found me a buyer at more than my anticipated price. In spite of Covid, the service from Sue and the back office team in St Neots was exemplary, but all three of these transactions relied on Sue's intimate knowledge of the area, properties that might be available, and her bank of serious purchasers. Thus there was no board, no picture on Rightmove, and no timewasting and frustrating viewings. That is what you pay for and its good value!

Communication is key to many aspects of life, particularly if you are dealing with something major like the sale of your property. Throughout the process of selling the communication from Fine & country, and Sue in particular, was first class. We knew exactly where we stood in terms of potential purchasers visits, what they thought of the property, and were hand held throughout the process of the sale itself. Communication was even kept up after the sale had gone through, to be sure that everything was still running smoothly at our end. I cannot emphasize more how important this is and Fine and Country would definitely be our first port of call in the future.

We can't recommend Richard and his team highly enough. They are the most professional and conscientious agents we have ever dealt with. Working through the most challenging times (Brexit and Covid19) they helped us achieve our goal of selling our house and we are now in our dream home.

First off, Fine & Country has a great presence in the real estate industry. When searching for homes online, in particular those with acreage, their name was prominent and property listings were many. Most importantly though, it was estate agent Sue Gipson who made it all happen. She found properties on our behalf that she felt would be of interest to us and really hit the mark. She also coordinated things well with other offices and estate agents so that we had many people working on our behalf so as to find the right property for us. This included working with different time zones, as we currently reside in California, and arranging health and safety measures so as to show homes all whilst in the midst of a global Pandemic. In short, Sue went above and beyond.
