I'm sure these must be fake reviews.
They never invite you to the inventory before or after moving in.
Emailed them with issues they missed out on their inventory like hole in walls and they said not to worry as it wouldn't affect my deposit.
Never missed rent and around three years later when I hand in my notice, they try to deduct money from my depost for the same holes I was told not to worry about. I had to prove it as I luckily saved the emails. So they came back to me and pivoted their angle and now charging me for other things that were pre existing.
Sent me photos of the property with no dates and not resembling anything near what the property looked like when I moved in.
Currently waiting for the results of the dispute with the deposit scheme.
Scammers beware renters!

Rented while I was a student with friends, property was lovely but I spent two months trying to get the inventory from them, they kept promising that someone would bring it round, and eventually got it emailed to me. It was clearly the inventory from the year prior as things had changed. My amendments were about three pages long.
Every time we had to deal with them they were rude, and honestly very poorly educated people. Often we were told one thing by one person, and then the next person would say 'no, are you stupid that isn't how it works'
Only had to call them out for repairs once, contractor attended without knocking the door or announcing himself, just let himself in with the master key and left all the rubbish from the job sitting in our kitchen when he left.
We'd phone up, they'd say 'oh so and so has to deal with that and they're at lunch they'll call you back ok' and never hear from anyone. Gave up phoning eventually and just emailed so that there was a paper trail. Often just had to forward them the same email repeatedly to get a reply.

I moved in to a student flat in September we wrote down all that was wrong hoping that they'd start fixing things, to start there was only one small fridge, no electricity the light for the stairs didn't work the living room window wouldn't open my bedroom window can't close the bathroom window can't close the washing machine was broken one of the few reasons we decided to rent the place for the extortionate amount that they demand. since moving in they fixed the lights 2 months in, they took the handle off the living room window and said they'd come back and didn't. we've had a plumber called out multiple times and each time he's just not turned up so sorry for the water damage its your fault for never sending someone to fix the leaking toilet. My bedroom window never closes so I have to leave my door open the entire time to get heat from the hallway i come back to the room to find it freezing I wake up to find my nose is freezing. he bathroom window is still broken as well. the dishwasher still doesn't work. well done for replacing the small broken fridge and the broken freezer.

Terrible nasty money grabbing wasters! Put my trust into this estate agent, showed up for a viewing after over an hours drive only for tennant to not allow us in, agent showed us another flat in the block to give us an idea on size...fair enough, liked it. Was told flat was in good condition and would be cleaned completely before us moving in. Kings became very keen to get us in early as possible as management of the flat was changing so we moved in on the day of management change. Kings led us into a complete nightmare, the flat was mouldy, wet, damp, smelly, had pink graffiti spray over bathroom walls, there was a hole in the floor in 2 places, oven didn't work, back door to balcony wouldn't lock...the list is endless! Took 2 days to clean, cost a fortune to cover graffiti and stains (this was a rented flat) kings wanted nothing to do with us, they just lied to get us in and abandoned us. I've waited outside the shop many times wanting to go in, but I'm afraid of losing my head completely! I will make sure everyone knows how's c**p kings is! The flat I rented was flat 4, southwood Road...I hate you for putting my family through Illness and upset, I hope karma gets u bad!

Three years of university finished! Out of all the agents myself and my housemates have used, Kings are by far the best. Helpful and professional from the beginning, drove us to numerous houses and knew all the answers to our questions. The admin fee was less then the previous year and we received our deposit in full at the end of the tenancy. Any issues we had in the house were fixed within 24 hours of us calling, normally the same day, if there were any delays they always kept us informed.

I have now been letting properties with Kings Estates 67 Albert Road Southsea, since February 2017. I went to Kings Estates initially because they charge a one-off fee with no extra charges for further 'call outs' unlike other agents. They also knew 'their field' in initial discussions and questions I asked them. I HAVE NOT been disappointed. There have been some challenging situations caused by unforeseen events but these agents have dealt with matters in a very professional, co operative and fair way to both myself the Landlord and also the Tenants. Kat the Manager has always taken any difficult issues 'on board' with good outcomes remaining very approachable, pleasant, professional and capable in her handling of her team and communicates well with feedback to myself and the tenants. Nothing has been too much trouble. Marlee, Emma and Callum on the Lettings Team are very co operative, pleasant and conscientious and most importantly effective when dealing with the properties. We have recommended this firm, which is carefully regulated by Tony the owner who keeps his' finger on the pulse' at all times, to other Landlords and people looking for housing. I feel people who have written poor reviews do not sometimes realise some of the complex issues involved in the rental market but in fairness I can only comment on my own experiences which are very good. Coming from a background of Housing Law after dealing for over 6 months with this firm I am confident to place the management of the properties with them and know that if there is an unforeseen problem they can sort it efficiently and with cost effectiveness. Thank you to you all and trusting you to carry on the good work.

Just bought a property through Kings Estates. Very happy with the communication. Polite and helpful staff, especially Paul and Marlee. The house needs a lot of work, but we knew that, as noticed the bad points on the viewing. A lot of furniture and rubbish left by the seller, but Paul promised to cooperate, so they can pay the bill for the removal. Got my keys on the completion day at 11:30am. Looking forward to settle in our new home :) Would highly recommend.
