Avoid this company, charging £895 to release tenancy when we are in urgent need of moving due to work, refuse to come up with a solution other than pay £1-2000 and maybe they will allow us to leave, have had outstanding repairs with them for 6 months and very aggressive. Contacting other letting agents to prevent us from moving. Not the behaviour expected of fair letting agents. Most your emails are ignored as well as any issues you may have.

The only reason why this fee would be charged to you is if you are wishing to break a legal contract between you and the Landlord. If you wish to contact me directly, I am sure we can have a sensible discussion. We and the Landlord are not unreasonable and maybe this is not the platform to negotiate on, therefore we await your further contact be phone, in person or by email?

From the outset, the process felt rushed—Amy pushed for a viewing even before I had signed the contract. I had to chase the team repeatedly for essential tasks, like completing the floor plan - I notice a lot of Elevation properties go live without a floor plan. They also repeatedly asked for both my and my husband's details, despite the sale being solely in my name and this was explained from the outset. Poor communication and coordination with the housing association resulted in us losing our initial buyer.

I recently sold my shared ownership property through Elevation Estate Agents (completed today), and while the sale was ultimately successful, the experience was far from smooth. From the outset, the process felt rushed—Amy pushed for a viewing even before I had signed the contract. I had to chase the team repeatedly for essential tasks, like completing the floor plan - I notice a lot of Elevation properties go live without a floor plan. They also repeatedly asked for both my and my husband's details, despite the sale being solely in my name and this was explained from the outset. Poor communication and coordination with the housing association resulted in us losing our initial buyer.
To their credit, when the sale fell through, Taurus acted quickly and arranged additional viewings within a few days. However, we ended up going back with the original buyer after the miscommunication was resolved - wasting a week of the process. Communication remained a challenge throughout—their WhatsApp service required multiple messages to get a response.
Pricing was another issue—Amy significantly overvalued the property by £20k. While we eventually agreed on a more realistic figure, it was still £10k above the bank's valuation, and there was little accountability for this overestimation. I appreciate they want to get the most for the property but if a bank won't lend a buyer it, its irrelevant. And her rushed approach to the fixtures and fittings process also lacked the promised detailed discussion or justification prior to going live with the advert.
One of the most frustrating aspects was their failure to properly inform the buyer that the chain wasn't complete, which led to relentless pressure on us to complete and dates being thrown our way for completion prior to us having an onward. Initially, we pulled out of our first purchase as our seller didn't have an onward purchase, and we were then unlucky with our second, where the seller changed their mind. This put immense pressure on us to find a third property quickly. Ultimately, we were pushed into breaking the chain due to their insistence, which has now resulted in a three-week gap over Christmas with no home. This could have been avoided if they had managed the buyer's expectations from the start, rather than pushing us unreasonably.
While Elevation Estate Agents were proactive in arranging viewings and did secure the sale, the overall experience and communication from Amy and Terry felt disorganized, rushed, and overly stressful. At times, it seemed like they were more focused on serving the buyer than representing me as their client. I also didn't have any communication with Sophie - the sales progression agent at all. I would recommend they improve their communication, accountability, and attention to detail to provide a better experience for future clients. And I would strongly recommend anyone selling a shared ownership property, check with your housing association about which estate agents they have worked with successfully before choosing, as I am aware that several sales involving this estate agent and my housing association have not gone as smoothly as they should have for similar reasons.

The team are really friendly and helpful, always there to answer any questions. Very welcoming when you go in and they managed the purchase of my property very well.
My constructive feedback would be that within 36 hours of me putting an offer in, I was getting texts and multiple missed calls from one of the team urging me to progress immediately with my mortgage and solicitors. I did explain firmly to him on the phone that it was all in hand, that I wanted to liaise with a few solicitors first and get quotes and that he needed to stop rushing me. To his credit, he did respect that which I really appreciated. It was soon moved to another member of the team to progress it and she was an absolute star throughout (Jennie).
I would recommend them. I have used them three times now, buying, selling and then buying again.

I am writing this letter of recommendation for Jonathan Blye and Elevation Lettings. I am a landlord with multiple properties who required a fast and clear professional approach on sourcing suitable applicants for me on a long term.
In this time I have gotten the chance to know Jonathan and his team to be intelligent, self-motivated, and hard-working.
At Elevation they have a department designed to help new and existing landlords to assure they're property investments are deemed suitable and are at a required industry standard to guarantee a successful tenancy.
Jonathan who was the senior for new business had valued my homes and reinsured me the property had met the required standards for letting to the professional sector.
Once the property was online, I was kept informed of all viewings and potential applicant offers. I found it quite comforting to know I had an agent who wouldn't hesitate to contact me and was happy to work to my requirements.
Unlike most agents, Elevation offered a tailored option which allowed me to freely choose the services I required, which was very helpful. Whist I am capable of managing my own investments, the level of professionalism Elevation had shown, I have chosen to maintain the relationship and hopefully will build upon my portfolio in the future.

We have opted for a full management option with Elevation Lettings and we are confident (based in our dealings with elevation so far) that they will deliver a professional, friendly and focused service to us throughout the tenancy (this part of service is even more important to us than the initial letting phase). We look forward to a strong and lasting partnership with Elevation lettings.

The emails where we report problems were completely ignored. They are the most unprofessional people in the service they offer to the tenants, something that would take 20 minutes to be resolved or answer has taken ages.
When we left the property and after having paid a full cleaning service including carpet, they charged us a huge amount of money because they said that there was some dust in a lamp (for example), when the house was never given to us in perfect conditions.
They do their best not to be useful and not help you at all.
Undoubtedly I have found in Elevation the worst professionals I have ever met in a company, simply terrible.
Avoid any property managed by them if you do not want to have problems continuously.

Have had nothing but issues with the agency. Was told the entrance carpets would be replaced when we first moved into the build. Now leaving a year later and they haven't been replaced. Have had nothing but issues with the agency. Was told the entrance carpets would be replaced when we first moved into the build. Now leaving a year later and they haven't been replaced. Boiler in property was faulty (no pressure so had to manually do so every time) and it was never replaced. An inspection was scheduled and cancelled the day of due to it being scheduled too early (was due the next month?!) And then they never returned to complete it. Signed an electronic doc to state we were not renewing (therefore leaving the property). When called to confirm the moved out date ,a month before, was told they knew nothing about this and we had to state this in writing and send it to them. Therefore couldn't leave the property. This was sorted by us having to visit the estate agents, in which they just checked the online doc and stated you have signed to not renew (why couldn't this be checked over the phone?). Later contacted them again to schedule the exit inspection (due on a Saturday which they weren't open so told to put the key through the door and it would be completed Monday). Contacted on the Wednesday after not being contacted about leaving the property only to be told they would schedule it next week to which we told them we had vacated the property. Apparently they were unaware we had moved out of the property.

When they would book in to visit the house to do their checks they always said if your not in we have a key, but I have a dog and you know that but never checked the file.
When I told them I was going month to month. Not one person had got back to me to say that they had received my request. I then emailed them to say I will be leaving end of August and believe it or not they were very quick to get back to me to tell
Me me end date.
They then started booking appointment to come
See the house and then didn't even turn up and never told me. I had to cancel appointments and arrange things around them.
I would AVOID this company and go else where. Nothing but stress and the worse letting agent I have ever been with. Want a stress free move. Go elsewhere.

Elevation were tasked with selling our property over the past 12 wks, we had only 4 viewings which took place within the first 2wks (none of which seemed genuine) on 1 occasion, Elevation wanted a potential buyer to wait 5 days to view our home due to lack of staff even though one member of staff... Horrible experience. There were just quick and efficient to take the handling fees from me (which at least they returned quickly, I have to admit).
Also, I was told that the move-in date would be on the 14th of this month, and that was fine for me as my contract finished on the 15th in London. Then they told me that the move-in date would be on the 16th after having confirmed otherwise, which left me in a terrible situation as I had to move all my stuff from the house without having a place to go.
Of course I did not get any compensation for all the trouble, and they left me homeless 3 days before moving from London to Milton Keynes. I would not recommend their services even to my worst enemy. To avoid.

I have just moved into a new home through Elevation and I could not be more pleased with the service I have received. They have been absolutely brilliant from the point of viewing right up to now with me having some issues with my new home. I am getting a response with solutions more or less straight away. I have been renting via a different agent for 2 years and waited months for responses on repairs etc resulting in me moving out of the property but Elevation are first class. Thanks guys - you're doing an amazing job!

Having had nothing but issues with letting agents previously, moving over to have Elevation manage our property as been extremely smooth. They have been on the phone or easily accessible via E-mail and have responded promptly.
They have been pro-active in obtaining the documents from our previous agent and have removed a lot of stress from the process.
